No better way to start your day in paradise!

The Morning Na Pali Tour starts with check-in at 6:30- 7:00 a.m. It may be a little cooler than our afternoon tour, so bring a windbreaker just in case. This Na Pali Coast snorkel tour will showcase the beauty of Kauai, as well as its Hawaiian marine life.

We depart Hanalei Bay around 7:30 a.m. and return approximately 4 hours later at around 11:30 a.m. Snorkel equipment and floatation devices are provided, as well as a waterproof dry-bag.

Please note that we do not guarantee snorkeling or entrance into sea caves. Our goal is always to provide the best tour possible, given the day’s weather and ocean conditions. Safety is priority #1 always.

Convenient Na Pali Departure Point

Leaving Hanalei Bay you reach the Na Pali in about 15 minutes. Along the way, you pass some premier windsurfing, kiteboarding, and local surf spots before arriving at the Na Pali Coast.

Other tours originating from Port Allen take hours of travel to get to and from the Na Pali while seeing only a fraction of the beauty that the Na Pali Coast has to offer. Our tours get you there fast so that you have time to leisurely experience the best of Na Pali Coast! To see what we mean take a look at the map. Port Allen tours are represented by the red line and our tour is represented by the green line .

  • Chevron down Winter Tours (October-December)

We are excited to announce that we will be operating boat tours along the stunning Na Pali Coast throughout the late fall and winter of 2024! During our “off-season,” we are pleased to offer a modified tour experience that promises an unforgettable adventure! While our winter tours will be 3 hours long, as opposed to our standard 4-hour tours during peak season, the focus will be on captivating sightseeing and wildlife viewing along the Na Pali Coast. Please note that lunch is not provided, as we aim to reduce waste in the event of a tour cancellation. Snorkeling and sea cave exploration are less likely during the winter months, but our captains will always monitor the conditions and may have opportunities to incorporate these activities if the weather permits. Your safety is our priority, and you can rest assured that our tours will be conducted in the safest and most responsible manner possible. Our seasoned captains and crew members are committed to ensuring your well-being at all times, and we will not hesitate to cancel any tour if the conditions are deemed unsuitable. We warmly invite you to explore and book your winter adventure with us. These tours promise to be a truly unique and memorable experience, showcasing the breathtaking natural beauty of the Na Pali Coast in the winter!

Check-in for our winter Morning tours is between 7:30 and 8 a.m., with departure times at 8:30 and 8:45 a.m.

Seasickness precautions are always recommended for all passengers – even on the calmest days.

  • Our 6 Person Power Catamaran is by far the highest quality affordable private charter in the entire industry bar none.
  • Like our raft, this is still a small boat and can be very adventurous at times. All participants should be in good health without any head, back, or neck injuries. Pregnant women are also not allowed on this potentially turbulent excursion. Recent surgeries should at the very least be mentioned before booking.
  • Reservations well in advance are highly recommended. With only 6 passengers per tour, our 6 Passenger Catamarans have virtually sold out for decades.
  • If no seats are available, please consider our other 2 vessel choices below for a very similar experience. Choose our raft if you are younger and seeking adventure, or choose our Deluxe Power Catamaran if you still want to be up close and personal with Na Pali, but would like to be a bit more comfortable in the process.

  14. Catamaran tours--Who's best for Na Pali?

I took the Na Pali Catamaran tour in September 2006, based on recommendations in the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook. I did not regret it at all either. In fact, I highly recommend them because you're really not spending a lot of time travelling to the Na Pali coast. You're pretty much right there when you launch from Hanalei Bay.

Yes, Na Pali Catamaran looks good, but with staying in the South, the drive up seems like an extra step obviously. But, that is the size of boat we were hoping for.
