We had our work Christmas party here. They were super accomodating- we had to find a new venue at the list minute. They helped up set up and bring all the gifts in for our employees. The food was delicious especially the chicken. And the service was great. The bartender made great drinks. And we met nice people who were patrons there. Could not have been more happy

It had been quite a while since I've been here ever since I found a new job and no longer work in Blawnox. I have faint memories of enjoying their wings and happy hour specials. The view itself it's much, you get the river and the yachts which is nice. Their lunch menu is simple and cheap, but it hit the spot. I should've stuck to a beer as their tap soda was flat. Our waitress was attentive though and we had a pleasant meal on a hot summer day.

Great place for anything boat and yacht related. Mr Maxwell has a fantastic operation going here...from new and used watercraft, parts and service, docking and storage, clubhouse, facilities, pool, food, bar...this is the real deal. Best on the three rivers, bar none.

Feel like you are on vacation! On the water with live bands, indoor and outdoor bars and plenty of seating and sunning! Jules was our excellent server and food is good bar food. Highly recommend!

Brought my Mercury outboard jet to their shop a couple of weeks ago to have the shift cable replaced. I go to take the boat out yesterday for the first time since being in the shop and the remote won't shift out of neutral into forward at all. There is absolutely no way their technician tested the shifter. My buddy and I spent an hour at the ramp adjusting the cable like Fox Chapel should have before calling it done. I'm out $300 and an hour of my time. I called them today to let them know of the mistake and Mike Burnside acted as if it didn't bother him one bit. Won't be going back to these crooks and will be sure to let my other boating friends know about them.

Stopped today to boat shop and talk about joining FCYC. Gentleman behind desk could have cared less. After checking out and being on this beautiful Sea Ray that was for sale alone, we asked him for information on renting a slip and joining the club. He politely told us the girl wasn't there we needed to talk to. We asked to leave a message for her to call us and was told it would be best if we tried calling after Wednesday. Lol. When walking out disappointed that our road trip was wasted and disgusted no one was eager to sell a boat I noticed brochures on the wall with information about renting a slip. So if you want information go to the wall. But if you show up with a dog, this man will happily spend time petting your dog and ignoring clients.

Newer boater to the area-stopped into the store on land-very impressed with the staff and their help and knowledge in products and welcoming me to the area. Very kind.

Do not buy a used boat from this marina. This place is a hoax and will sell u anything with no standard of testing etc... I purchased a boat recently and it required 15k worth of service to be sea worthy. They patched it up for my boat test and made it run and sound good. meanwhile the boat had serious problems with it and required a great deal of work. Im disgusted with how i have been treated by this marina and i plan to sue them since they have told me that they have no intention of helping me pay for the major problems with the vessel.

If you are thinking of getting food at the Baja Cafe at the Fox Chapel Yacht Club, DON'T. I ordered a Cuban pannini and asked if the bun would be "pressed". When I got it, the bun was pressed, but it looked vaguely familiar. When I picked it up, I realized it was a "pressed" hot dog bun, not pannini. The fries were right out of the freezer. And Italian friend, also present, ordered penne pasta with marinara. She ate about one quarter of it, and would not take the remainder home with her. She said it tasted like tomato soup on soggy noodles. Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.

Terrible maintenance department! They did not get permission to do the work, then charged a ridiculous amount, and the boat did not work! Reviewing the parts charging they double charged us for several parts, then after they claimed to have fixed it - we found eve more parts double charged. After a second trip back the boat still didn't work. Stay away from the service department!

About the Baja Bar & Grill

​The Baja Bar & Grill is the perfect destination any time of the year for good food along with amazing views of the Allegheny River and the Fox Chapel Marina.  We are located in the Fox Chapel Yacht Club and Marina Complex on the Allegheny River. 

We are open to the public all year long. Find us on the banks of the Allegheny River at the Fox Chapel Yacht Club and Marina Complex (that's Mile Marker 9 for all those arriving by boat).  

We open at 11:30 a.m. and offer daily specials for lunch on weekdays. In addition, our  extensive menu is also available and everything is fresh and made to order.  Hardy portions at a very reasonable price along with Lunch Card Savings provides a win-win for our customers.

Rules & Regulations

The following rules and regulations are for the protection and benefit of all patrons using the pool and locker room areas. They have been established to assure a safe and sanitary environment for the members.

• 1 Whistle…………..Look Up & Listen
• 3 Whistles…………Exit Water Immediately
• Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No children should be left at the pool without transportation home.
• Any person showing evidence of skin disease, sore/inflamed eyes, cold, nasal/ear discharge or any communicable disease shall be refused admission. Also sunbathers with excessive sunburn, open blisters, cuts or bandages will not be admitted into the pool.
• All hours of operation for Fox Chapel Pool, Inc. are both weather and staff permitting updates are typically posted to the Fox Chapel Pool facebook page.
• Any part of the facility can be closed at the discretion of management. Hours of operation may also be altered for Special Events.
• Objects such as rafts, tubes, water wings, masks and snorkels are prohibited for recreational swim.
• Expectorating in the pool is prohibited.
• Use of profanity or sexually inappropriate conduct is prohibited.
• Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers made exclusively for the pool.
• No glassware allowed on the poolside and deck area. If you break glass, you will be responsible for all fees incurred from draining, cleaning and re-filling the pool.
• All sunbathers must shower before entering the pool and MUST wear proper bathing attire. Bathing suits can be worn on the pool deck areas ONLY. Shirt, shorts and shoes MUST be worn in all other areas of the building.
• Guests of members are welcome for a fee. This fee applies to persons of all ages and an adult member must accompany guests. This fee is $20.00 per pass on weekdays and $25.00 per pass on weekends and holidays. Fox Chapel Pool reserves the right to make any necessary changes to guest pass policies.
• MEMBERS MUST PURCHASE THEIR GUEST PASSES AND BE PRESENT FOR THEIR GUESTS TO UTILIZE THE POOL.
• Fox Chapel Pool, Inc. management reserves the right to suspend and/or revoke membership to the pool for any reason without refund of fees paid.
• No diving in the pool as noted by the deck markings.
• Children, who are non-swimmers must be accompanied in the water by an adult at all times.
• Fox Chapel Pool, Inc. management does not have an outside phone paging system. Personal calls received on house phones will not be tolerated. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
• Fox Chapel Pool, Inc. is not responsible for damage to or loss of any item left at the pool/locker room area nor are they responsible for damage or wrongdoing occurring in the parking lot facility.
• Every member is responsible and shall reimburse Fox Chapel Pool, Inc. for any damages, loss or liability incurred by Fox Chapel Pool, Inc. by any of the members or their guests.
• Two lap lanes are available at all times. No one is permitted to hang on the lap lanes and children are not allowed in the lap lane area when in use by adults.
• There is a $20.00 locker rental fee for the season.
• No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed in the pool or deck area. Anyone bringing outside items into the pool or deck area will be asked to leave. Repeated occurrences will result in a revoked membership with no refund.
• No service dogs allowed.
• Chairs surrounding the pool are first come first serve. There will be no reserving chairs.
• Children over the age of 8 are not permitted in the baby pool.
• No balls of any kind are permitted in the pool.
