Our club offers various amenities, including a swimming pool, a 74-boat slip marina, a private beach, a sports court, and a day camp. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of the Great South Bay. Our commitment is to provide the best experience for our members and their families, and our staff is always available to assist in making your time with us as enjoyable as possible.

Long Island Yacht Club has hosted exclusive events and provided beautiful facilities for members and non-members. Over the years, this Yacht Club has become a home away from home for many, offering peace and serenity away from the busy hustle and bustle of everyday life. Anchor Camp and Youth Activities

At the Long Island Yacht Club, there is something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to learn the fundamentals of sailing, tennis, or swimming, our experienced instructors have you covered.

Our popular Anchor Day Camp provides a traditional camp experience while offering a one-of-a-kind sailing program onsite.  In addition, with our wide array of summer camp activities such as sports, arts and crafts, swimming & STEAM fueled activities, our day camp is the perfect summer home for pre-schoolers up to 7th graders.  We are open to both members and non-members alike, allowing our entire community to make lasting memories with new friends.  We invite you to explore our site and learn more about our many activities.  Join us and make this summer one to remember!

Anchor Camp

Our Anchor camp will provide children ages 5-15 with a unique camp experience.  In addition to traditional camp activities, our location allows us to offer amazing adventures in sailing, paddleboarding, and fishing. 

Youth Lessons

Learn the fundamentals of sailing, tennis, and swimming.  Children aged 5 through 15 have the opportunity to develop their skills in each area from our experienced instructors.

For swimmers who want to take their skills to the next level, our competitive swim team meets twice weekly for practice and meets throughout the summer.

Bridgeview Yacht Club

Referred to as Long Island’s most picturesque waterfront wedding venue, Bridgeview Yacht Club has been catering to NY couples for over 20 years! Our photographers and video team love making the trip out to Long Island to shoot at this beautiful venue! Thanks to it’s prime location, couples and their guests enjoy unobstructed views of the water from the glass walled banquet rooms and breathtaking sunsets. In addition to having several rooms to choose from, couples also receive access to Bridgeview Yacht Club’s courtyard and lush gardens. Our photographers had a great time capturing this romantic wedding at Bridgeview Yacht Club. The adorable couple got ready at home and exchanged vows in a church ceremony before heading over to the waterfront venue for photos. Elizabeth and Daniel chose the Pavilion room at Bridgeview Yacht Club which features a grand ballroom with walls of glass and fabric draped ceilings and eleven (yes 11) crystal chandeliers! The reception kicked off with a fun introduction for the wedding party and first dance by the newlyweds. Our videographers did a great job creating a romantic yet fun wedding trailer video for Elizabeth and Daniel that features footage of them getting ready, their ceremony and of course those amazing water views. Bridgeview Yacht Club Wedding Photos

Theresa & Rich’s New Year’s Eve wedding at Bridgeview Yacht Club was a blast to capture! The adorable couple and their fantastic wedding party didn’t let the cold weather stop the party. To celebrate their winter wedding and the new year ringing in , the bridesmaids wore glittery gowns (all 13 of them) and white fur shawls! Bridgeview Yacht Club was sure to have the reception room set up and ready to go for the wedding celebration after their church ceremony and quick stop at their local bar for shots (how fun!). Our photographers and video team then captured the newlyweds at the Long Island waterfront venue before they were introduced into the reception. Peconic Bay Yacht Club

My wife and I got married in October at the Peconic Bay Yacht Club and the wedding was nothing short of perfect. John is the best in the business and he and his staff were incredible throughout the process and made everything from the first stages of planning to the wedding and everything in between so fun and stress-free. We have gotten so many compliments and rave reviews from friends and family about the venue. We had so much fun, the food was incredible, the setup with bars and staff was perfect, and everything else about the day was just so special. We could not imagine the best day of our lives happening anywhere else.

Went here for a family friend's wedding and was blown away by how polished this place was. Staff was excellent and food was amazing.

From the moment we met John and saw the beautiful venue we knew this was the one. After an exhaustive search of venues in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the North Fork, the Hamptons and the Hudson Valley we were starting to think the venue we were envisioning did not exist. PBYC met all of our requirements and more. John was super friendly, extremely helpful and always responsive. (He would answer our many late night emails within minutes) John is the gold standard for what every venue manger should be. After our wedding we had so many people reach out to us to tell us how amazing he was. We had no major hiccups thanks to John’s attention to detail, organization and preparation. Also, the venue is beyond stunning, it is absolutely breathtaking. From the gorgeous outdoor area on the water to the perfectly decorated interior (each area has its own personality) you will fall in love with the grounds. Throughout the day we utilized all of their spaces with an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour on the balcony, dinner in the dining room, dancing on the 2nd floor and an after party in the Cellar Bar. Not only is PBYC a beautiful venue, but their partnership with Robbins Wolfe catering elevates the experience. The food was unique and absolutely delicious. We are still receiving messages from our guests that they are craving the burrata! The quality of the wine and spirits is above and beyond any other venue (and trust me, we have been to a lot of weddings!) We strongly recommend booking your big day at Peconic Bay Yacht Club. After touring the venue and meeting John you will know you ended up at the right place!

My husband and I got married at Peconic Bay Yacht Club back in November. When we first got engaged, we looked at so many venues (a dozen to be exact), and nothing even came close to PBYC. The venue is stunning- every detail in the design is flawless. From our first email interaction, to our first venue tour and throughout the entire year long planning process- John, the General Manager was incredible. Absolutely incredible. His knowledge, attention to detail, and response time are unlike any other person I have had the pleasure of working with. John had an answer for everything, and often would respond within minutes of receiving my email. From our first interaction, John made us feel like he actually wanted our wedding there. A lot of the venues we saw, it was like they were doing us a favor by giving us a tour- not with John. Nothing was ever rushed, and he took the best care of us. John was everything you can wish for (and then some) in a venue General Manager The day of our wedding was flawless. John was instrumental in this. The food was incredible, not your typical catered wedding food. Guests are still raving about the food and the breath taking views three months later, thanks to Robbins Wolfe and their exquisite menu. Guests are also still talking about the caliber of service. There was no waiting in line for the bar or the bathroom. Each person at the table received their entree at the same exact time, it was next level service. I could not recommend PBYC more, it was an unbelievable experience working with John and team, especially in what can often be a stressful planning process. Book your wedding there, and know you are in good hands. Wish we could relive the day again!

My fiancé and I are getting married at the Peconic Bay Yacht Club in September 2018. This venue is amazing and beautiful both inside and out. It’s beautifully designed and furnished with spectacular views of the Peconic Bay. We recently had our food tasting and as expected the food was fantastic. The general manager John O from Robbins Wolfe, the caterer at the PBYC, was not only very helpful and kind but he has been an absolute pleasure to work with. His attention to detail, knowledge and response time have been exceptional. Most importantly he makes us feel like this is his only wedding and we are his personal friends. We know with John, we are in great hands! My fiancé and I have no doubt that our wedding is going to be everything we wanted and more. We are so excited to celebrate at the PBYC and cannnot wait until September!

Long Island Yacht Club Wedding

Amanda and Frank exchanged their vows on a beautiful, windy, Long Island day among their family and friends. The New York natives beamed as they stood beside the peaceful shore and celebrated the joining of their blended family. The ceremony and reception took place at the lovely Moriches Yacht Club , providing the perfect backdrop to this rustic, laid back celebration. The ceremony was held by the water where a beautiful hand-made wooden arch created a window to the bay behind the bride and groom. The most adorable vintage cocktail trailer served out drinks while the guests played lawn games during cocktail hour. Dancing took place under an enormous tent with light blue hanging lanterns giving off a perfect glow to the Brooklyn Bluegrass Collective (band) and the dance floor full of elated guests. The wedding ended with long goodbyes and many well-wishes for the happy newlyweds.

How did you meet?

We met one night at a local bar, after I had finished work at a restaurant down the street. After running into each other a couple of times, we realized that I knew his sisters from high school and we quickly became friends. We remained good friends for a couple of years, and after my relationship ended, we started spending more time together. We both had children from previous relationships and found comfort in each other. We would meet for dinners & drinks and eventually our relationship grew – getting more and more serious as the months went on.

What is your proposal story?

We had been together for about four years, and had talked about getting engaged and married all the time. I was hoping it was going to happen soon, but didn’t want to get my hopes up. On Christmas Day 2019, he proposed. We had our kids that morning and after breakfast & exchanging gifts, the kids left to be with their other parent for Christmas dinner. We were relaxing and waiting to go to my sister’s for dinner when he told me to get my stocking, which was hanging next to the others, empty. I grabbed it and jokingly said something about it having nothing in it, while putting my hand in to the bottom and there it was. I quickly felt a little wrapped box and stood still and stared at him for a minute. He got down on one knee as I pulled the box out of the bottom of my stocking and he said “Will you make me the happiest person in the world, and spend the rest of your life with me?” I quickly said yes and he put the ring on my finger!

Tell us a little a bit about your wedding (your vision, color, style, and location choices).

We pretty much had our wedding planned before we got engaged. We wanted to do a DIY wedding-rustic and simple, so we had it at the local yacht club on the bay. It was everything we wanted! Our colors were all different shades of dusty blue/navy blue and grey. We kept our flowers simple – baby’sbreath and a couple bits of greenery and a rose here and there. We got a great bluegrass band for cocktail hour and had yard games. Our goal was to have a fun, easy going wedding where the food was good, the drinks were delicious and there was lots of good music. We rented this awesome mobile bar called the Vintage Cocktail Camper which was a huge highlight of the party. It set the tone for the rustic theme we wanted and everyone loved it!

Tell us about your attire choices.

My wedding gown was the Naomi dress from BHLDN. It was absolutely stunning and 100% my style (& it was only $800!). I knew I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a wedding dress and found BHLDN online, booked an appointment, and found my dress within an hour. It was beautifully beaded and fit me perfectly, all I needed was to have it hemmed. Frank bought a grey Kenneth Cole suit from Macy’s, which fit him almost perfectly, all he needed was a hem. He also wore suspenders with his suit, so when he took his jacket off, he was comfortable. As for my bridesmaids, I wanted them to feel comfortable in their dresses. I let them each pick the style they liked best and felt good in and let them choose their shade of blue. I wanted them all to have a different dress and a different color and it really worked out well. Our groomsmen wore suits rather than tux’s – grey pants, white shirts and their choice of suspenders or a vest. They all had blue/tan/grey patterned ties.

What was the most important to the two of you while planning? Was there anything that you chose to splurge on or skip?

We really just wanted everyone to have fun. You always hear while planning a wedding that the bride and groom are usually pulled away and don’t always get to enjoy the wedding reception themselves and that was something we did not want to happen. We planned everything out so our photos were mostly done before the ceremony and we were free to eat, drink and dance with all of our family and friends.

What were your favorite parts of the day? (memories and stories)

It is really hard to pick a specific part that we loved more. I would say doing our first look and having about an hour before our ceremony to have a drink, see each other and spend time with our wedding party before everything started was a really nice way to start the day. Our kids were in the wedding as well as our closest friends and all of our siblings, so it was really nice to have that time to joke around & relax before the ceremony started.

Tell us about your wedding flowers.

We wanted to keep everything simple and not have too much going on. We did all baby’s breath bouquets for the bridesmaids. I had a beautiful wildflower bouquet and the tables had baby’s breath with a bit of greenery and a few pink roses throughout the tables.

Tell us about your wedding cake.

Our caterer happened to use our favorite bakery for our cake. We had a “naked” style wedding cake with fresh berries on each layer. It was delicious and beautiful!

What did you do for favors?

Cupcakes and Everything Chocolate did our favors and did not disappoint! We decided to do cake pops. Christina (the owner and baker) makes these amazingly beautiful popsicle style cake pops that were both delicious and stunning. We explained our theme and colors and sent a couple of Pinterest posts to her and she went above and beyond. Each cake pop was wrapped with a cellophane wrap and twine bow.

Please describe any DIY, handmade, or personal details.

Almost everything we had was DIY/handmade. Our centerpieces were all made by us (aside from the mason jars with flowers). All of the decorations we put together and made (with a little help from family) including the pallet with the timeline for the day, the photo booth, the backs of the ceremony chairs, etc.

Did you include any family heirlooms or special traditions?

No. We kind of wanted to do a semi-non traditional wedding. I did wear my grandmothers diamond earrings that were given to her by my grandfather though!

Do you have any advice for couples planning their weddings now?

Do what you and your partner want to do! When planning a wedding, everyone is going to tell you what they think you should do. At the end of the day, this is your wedding with the person that you want to share the rest of your life with and it should be everything you want. Whether that means a backyard BBQ or a romantic wedding in a church – do what suits you and your partner!

Long Island Yacht Club Waterfront Ceremony

Hilary and Marc said "I do" outdoors with a backdrop of the water at Long Island Yacht Club in Babylon, New York. Candles on wooden stands and blush petals decorated the grass aisle. During the ceremony and at the cocktail hour, Long Island singer Keith Maguire played some of their favorite tunes on acoustic guitar and piano.
