David went for a first cruise on his mega-boat with wife Victoria and family, including her parents de ella, Anthony and Jackie Adams, who are seen sitting between the Beckhams

The new £5million superyacht is named Seven after the England shirt number along with being the middle name of his ten-year-old daughter Harper.

During the sun-kissed Florida jaunt while dressed in black shorts, white T-shirt and baseball cap worn back-to-front.

The yacht  has a length of 28.5 meters and inside there are five cabins that can accommodate ten guests, plus  crew members. Seven is powered by two engines of 2,400 horsepower each and give her a top  speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots. This maritime work of art is by Zuccon International Project and Ferretti, who modified some details of the original design , in addition to allowing Beckham to customize and give an exclusive cut to his new yacht.

David Beckham and Victoria Beckham enjoyed a glamorous family outing Wednesday aboard a multimillion-dollar mega-yacht in Miami.

The couple — who has a reported combined net worth of $514 million — was photographed riding a dinghy with their four kids , sons Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19, and daughter Harper, 12, as well as their daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz.

They were all dressed casually, with David, 48, and Victoria, 49, strategically shielding themselves from the hot sun under stylish hats as they made their way onto the larger boat.

The massive silver vessel — which is a Riva 130 Bellissima Yacht — measures close to 40 meters and 130 feet, and was built at the company’s La Spezia shipyard in Italy.

It accommodates up to 10 guests in five suites, which is plenty of room for the entire Beckham clan.

Officina Italiana Design worked on the interior, and its features include a beach club, WiFi and air conditioning.

We’re told David and Beckham own the lavish boat which boasts a $20 million price tag and is personalized with the word “Seven” — Harper’s middle name — written across it. The pair previously had a smaller Riva Argo 90 , which cost $6.5 million.

The Beckhams have been spending the majority of their time in Miami since February 2014 when David was offered an opportunity to take part in the Magic City’s MLS team, Inter Miami.

The retired soccer star has since brought legend Lionel Messi on board his team, which further incentivized stars like Kim Kardashian and LeBron James to make it out to games .

Aside from business, David makes sure to enjoy plenty of quality time with Victoria all over Miami.

Page Six exclusively reported last July that the former Manchester United player and the Spice Girls member dropped more than $2,000 on a date night at the luxe LPM Restaurant and Bar in Brickell.

When the Beckhams are not in South Florida, they spend a lot of time in their native UK.

The power couple owns a $40 million Victorian townhouse in London that is located in the ultra-luxurious Holland Park area of Kensington — also known as “Millionaire’s Row.”

The lavish property reportedly features six bedrooms, an indoor pool, a wine cellar, a fashion runway, a gym and an at-home nail salon.

However, it appears David has grown quite fond of his new home in Miami.

He said during an event in 2018, “I could have gone to another city, but this was always my city. It’s always where I wanted to have our team.”

David and Victoria, their children Cruz and Harper, along with family friend Gigi Hadid , have been indulging on board a £1.6 million-per-week (AUD $2.7 million) super yacht in the French Riviera.

The decadent 311ft Madsummer vessel caters for up to 12 guests and boasts numerous stand-out features including a beach club, swimming pool and massage room.

Victoria and David have been spotted cosying up to one another on the yacht's spacious deck, with up to 28 crew members on board to cater to their every whim.

Other impressive features of the yacht include a dancefloor for Victoria to return to her Posh Spice days, a movie theatre, sauna, spa and massage room.

Gigi showed off her model figure in a tiny bikini as she worked on her tan on the yacht's deck on Sunday.

She is believed to have grown close to Brooklyn Beckham's model wife Nicola Peltz.

The Beckhams have been pictured taking to the sea on jet skis over recent days, while scuba diving and wakeboarding is also available for guests to enjoy.

Victoria even delighted her Instagram fans when she was filmed by David belting out lyrics to some of her iconic Spice Girl hits on the yacht's spacious deck.

Interiors take on a luxurious feel with a bold blue and white colour palette throughout the dining, bar and lounge area, timber and velvet accents, and wraparound windows for undisturbed sea views.

LIFE looked to be plain sailing for David Beckham as he took to sea on his new £5million yacht yesterday.

The ex-England and Manchester United ace went for a first cruise on his mega-boat with wife Victoria and family, including her parents

The vessel is named Seven — matching his shirt number for the Red Devils and as his country’s skipper, plus the middle name of ten-year-old daughter Harper.

Unshaven Becks was on the crest of a wave as he laughed and joked during the sun-kissed Florida jaunt while dressed in black shorts, white T-shirt and baseball cap worn back-to-front.

An onlooker said: “David looked ecstatic as he took to sea on board his gleaming boat. He’s wanted a yacht for a long time and couldn’t be happier with his new toy.”

The Sun told last month he was helping to design the Italy-made play-thing.

The father of four, 46, splashed out on the 93.5ft yacht following a visit to the Ferretti shipyard in Forli.

It was presented to proud Becks near its mooring, close to the star’s £19million penthouse in Miami.

Floral displays and fluffy white towels were dotted around the boat as the group happily chatted on the upper deck, sat on comfy cushions.

Victoria, 47, arrived for the trip in a revealing black mini-dress and sunglasses before changing into a warmer outfit.

Social media snaps also show other family members having fun including Harper, the couple’s second son Romeo, 19, and his partner Mia Regan, also 19.

Also on board were youngest son Cruz, 16, Libby Adams, Victoria’s 20-year-old niece, plus friend Ahmed Al-Sibai .

The yacht can accommodate ten guests in five state rooms. And the millionaire’s status symbol has a nippy top speed of 30 knots. It also boasts an extended swim platform, beach deck.

Alberto Galassi, chief executive of boat-maker Ferretti said of Becks’s yacht: “There’s so much steel on this boat — and glass. We are surrounded by glass. It’s sort of a little crystal palace.”

He added: “We sell emotions, we sell pleasure, we sell entertainment, we sell a good time, we don’t sell boats. We sell a pleasant way of living.”

Becks is in the money after finalising a ten-year, £150million deal to promote this year’s World Cup finals host country Qatar. 

However, he was roundly condemned for taking the money as the country has an appalling record on human rights.

David and Victoria Beckham and their family have been spotted relaxing in the sun on their super yacht, thought to be worth around £5million, after Brooklyn’s wedding to Nicola Peltz .

As the happy couple begin married life , the family is clearly taking some time to recover from all the wedding festivities.

David, Victoria, Romeo and Cruz were spotted soaking in the sun, enjoying drinks, and chatting away on board the yacht.

Mum Victoria, 48, rocked a little black dress and sunnies as she chilled out, while David donned a white T-shirt, shorts, and a backwards cap.

The former footballer, 46, grinned as he enjoyed the day, getting a sweet hug from Cruz, 17, at one point.

Romeo, 19, who acted as a best man at the wedding alongside Cruz, and his girlfriend Mia Regan were also spotted on board.

The stars lounged on sofas in the sun, with some also gathering around tables, adorned with flowers, for a spot of shade.

It’s been a few weeks of major celebration for the Beckhams, after Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot in a ceremony thought to cost around £3million on her family’s estate in Palm Beach, Florida.

It’s been said a very proud father of the groom David   ‘shed a tear’ as he delivered a speech in honour of his 23-year-old son at the reception.

According to reports, the football legend got ‘choked up’ with emotion as he remembered the day his eldest child was born in 1999, the same year he married Victoria.

He reportedly described his daughter-in-law, 27-year-old Nicola as ‘incredible’, before paying tribute to the actress and adding: ‘We love you so much. We are excited that you’ll be part of the family.’

Celebrity guests included Gordon and Tana Ramsay, tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams, Spice Girls Mel B ad Mel C, and actress Eva Longoria.

Nicola has since given fans a glimpse into her married life, sharing a sweet snap of Brooklyn beaming at her.

Meanwhile, just days after the big celebration, Victoria also celebrated her 48th birthday.

Football  icon husband David posted a sweet tribute to ‘the most amazing wife, mummy & Business woman’, alongside a snap of the couple sharing a smooch on the beach by a bonfire in the evening.

Of course, she celebrated in style, heading to swanky Japanese restaurant Sushi Fly Chicken in Miami and being greeted with a seven-tiered floral-adorned cake.

David Beckham has bought himself an early Christmas present, reportedly splashing out on a new £5 million yacht.

In June, the Daily Mail reported that Beckham, 46, had met with officials from Italian shipbuilding company Ferretti , and he was filmed touring the 110ft Ferretti yacht Telli at a shipyard in La Spezia, Italy. A source at the shipyard confirmed Beckham’s visit in a statement to The Sun , although refused to reveal further details. 

Now, The Sun reports that Beckham has helped to design his new yacht, which will be 100ft long and will be moored in Miami, Florida. The new yacht is understood to be a fully custom Ferretti.

A source told The Sun: “David had a look around some yachts in the summer, and decided to treat himself. He helped design the boat himself and has been incredibly hands-on with everything. It’s not an oligarch-style super-yacht, but it’s still pretty plush by anyone’s standards.”

Beckham, who is the owner of a 27-metre Horizon E88 nicknamed The Sophisticated Lady , is said to have been inspired by regular yachting holidays with friends including Sir Elton John and David Furnish.

His new yacht is reportedly having its final touches applied and will be ready for use during 2022. 

The former England football captain recently netted £150 million after signing a controversial 10-year deal to become an ambassador for Qatar, which is hosting the 2022 Fifa World Cup, according to reports.

The decision caused controversy thanks to concerns over the country’s poor human rights record and treatment of women and the LGBTQI+ community.  But Beckham, who is a Unicef ambassador, insists football can be a “force for good”. 

For their first voyage, the former footballer is said to be planning to sail around the Florida Keys with his wife Victoria and four children in the new year.

The Beckhams have been enjoying time on the vessel since at least Wednesday, when they were first spotted aboard the Riva 130 Bellissima Yacht. The 130-foot superyacht features five suites that can accommodate up to 10 guests, and it can hit a top speed of 26 knots. The outlet pegged the yacht as costing some $20 million, an upgrade from the Beckhams’ smaller, $6.5 million Riva Argo 90.

During the family outing, which also included Brooklyn Beckham’s wife, Nicola Peltz, the crew goofed off, with Victoria and David pretending to sleep in their bunny ears and Nicola lifting up Victoria’s boot-clad foot. (The former Spice Girl fractured her foot during a February workout, The New York Post wrote.) And even though Romeo couldn’t join in on the fun, David shared some throwback Easter photos on his own Instagram, showing his sons with a giant chocolate bunny when they were younger.

The Beckhams now spend most of their time in Miami, thanks to David’s work with the Florida city’s soccer club, Inter Miami FC, which he founded back in 2018. Still, they retain a $40 million property on Kensington’s “Millionaire’s Row” in London, according to The New York Post , where they hole up when they travel across the pond.

While Victoria and David no longer perform or play soccer, respectively, the two have been busy with their other ventures of late: Earlier this year, for example, Victoria debuted her first watch collection with Breitling. And last year, David teamed up with Maserati to design two new vehicles for the marque.

The soccer player, 48, and the Spice Girls member, 49, traded in their $6.5 million yacht for another one — a ship valued at $20 million.

The lovebirds and their kids, Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12,  were spotted riding on a charter boat to get on their new yacht in Miami on Wednesday.

The fam sported casual looks, with the Beckham patriarch and matriarch both rocking hats and T-shirts.

Their latest yacht is named “Seven” — a reference to Harper’s middle name — and is a  Riva 130 Bellissima boat .

The structure measures 40 meters and 130 feet, and was built in Italy.

The vessel holds five rooms and 10 guests can comfortably fit, with a beach club, Wi-Fi and air conditioning also put on board. According to the Mirror , the lavish yacht boasts a $20 million price tag.

The new luxurious boat was bought by the British footballer in 2022 after staying with longtime friends Elton John and his husband, David Furnish.

An insider told  the Sun  at the time: “David had a look around some yachts in the summer, and decided to treat himself. He helped design the boat himself, and has been incredibly hands-on with everything.”

“It’s not an oligarch-style super-yacht, but it’s still pretty plush by anyone’s standards. He was inspired after holidaying with Elton and David on their boat — and loves life on the water,” the source added.

“There will be an area for the kids to snorkel, and the boat will be a brilliant base for the whole Beckham clan to have magical holidays abroad.”

On Thursday, Victoria posted an Instagram snap of herself tanning aboard the yacht.

She donned a white swimsuit, a black cap from her namesake label and a large diamond rock on her finger.

“Sun protection is everything!! Which is why I can’t get enough of my exclusive VB logo caps. Available now! Kisses xx,” she captioned that photo.

The Beckhams have somewhat called Miami their home for quite some time, as they bought a $24 million apartment several years ago in the area. David is also a co-owner of the Magic City’s MLS team, Inter Miami.

Additionally, the pair own a $40 million townhouse in London — that includes six bedrooms, an indoor pool, a wine cellar, a gym and a nail salon — which they purchased in 2013. The residence is located in the Holland Park area of Kensington, otherwise known as “Millionaire’s Row.”

It’s not entirely clear if the soccer legend purchased or merely chartered the yacht, but some outlets have been speculating that he owns it outright, a theory supported by the fact that the boat has been customized with the name “Seven,” which is both Beckham’s former jersey number and Harper’s middle name.

The Beckhams continued to celebrate Easter weekend aboard the vessel; Victoria , David , and Brooklyn all shared Instagram photos of themselves wearing bunny ears on the sleek silver watercraft alongside holiday well-wishes in their photo captions.

The 46-year-old even helped to design the luxurious yacht, after reportedly being inspired by holidays with Elton John and David Furnish on their boat.

The boat will offer the family the opportunity to explore even more of Miami and the surrounding areas, with David and Victoria reportedly keen to sail around the Florida Keys on a future trip.

It is not the only holiday home the Beckhams own in the area, as they also have a $24million penthouse apartment in the exclusive One Thousand Museum building, which was designed to mirror a seven-star hotel.

Each residence in the building boasts multiple terraces with breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean as well as the Miami skyline, Italian kitchens with quartz countertops, custom-designed walk-in closets and spa-like bathrooms.

David and Victoria jetted to Miami a week ago , just days after it was revealed their Holland Park mansion had been burgled while they were at home with Harper, ten. The couple were completely unaware that an upstairs bedroom had been broken into until the following morning, when Cruz, 17, returned home from a night out and discovered broken glass and realised possessions had been stolen.

The family also own a luxury barn conversion in the Cotswolds as part of their incredible property portfolio.

David Beckham and his family continue to enjoy their summer vacations on board a luxury boat in which they are sailing the Mediterranean in search of the best beaches. In a matter of a few days they have travelled from Croatia to Italy’s Amalfi Coast and Saint-Tropez , this being one of the final stops.

A luxurious yacht that goes by the name of ‘ Madsummer’ and that was built in 2019 has the capacity for 12 people . It’s clearly a comfortable method for Family Beckham to spend some of their break together and they have shared some of their fun via their social media accounts, with snapshots that include images of the spacious boat and their locations.

There is no doubt that a yacht like the Madsummer is not suitable for all budgets, and it is that according to the Superyacht fan portal, it has an estimated value of US$229 million , making it one of the most luxurious and exclusive. It’s a boat with all kinds of details, including a cinema room, a children’s play area, a sauna, a spa, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a multi-purpose gym .

And not all areas are on the same level, with the yacht offering an elevator to take its occupants to and from their chosen activity, while Wi-Fi connectivity and air conditioning go without saying . But, given the sunny locations being visited, activities are also encouraged outside, with the boat offering flyboards , jet skis , wakeboards , as well as a diving and fishing set. We’re still trying to identify if there is a library for educational book reading.

A rental of $1.6 million per week

This yacht is not Beckham’s property, but instead is rented in the summer season at around $1,600,000 per week, an outlay that the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, PSG and AC Milan player is said to have made to enjoy a few days of disconnection from a busy life with his family.

During this trip, the family was seen with one of their good friends, Sarah Ferguson , the former-wife of Prince Andrew, with whom they spent a day in Amalfi, in southwestern Italy.

The multi-millionaire, 46, has enjoyed many sea-bound adventures with music legend Sir Elton John - so it’s no surprise he’s coughed up the cash to treat Victoria and the kids.

It’s a whopping 100ft vessel which sources told the Sun: “It’s pretty plush by anyone’s standards. He helped design the boat himself, and has been incredibly hands-on with everything.”

Apparently David plans to sail it around the Florida Keys in the New Year - lush!

Along with a boom in private jets, GQ found that over 1,000 super yachts were sold last year - someone spread the word fast!

A new experience

You can forget ferry-like interiors and wood-panelled boats, these super yachts are seriously stylish and it’s exactly what the super-rich want.

But that’s not all - instead of an easy sail around Monaco with private staff and jet skis, wealthy folk want adventure.

Apparently the newest trend is an explorer yacht, which can take on wild weather and even ice in Antarctica!

These yachts need a bit more than a diving board and a sunbathing deck, though.

Cassius the explorer is the latest tough toy to hit the market - it’s got a medical spa, Vitamin C enriched water and even a moon pool for a submarine.

It looks like a price-on-application job - but it’ll be a purse-pincher.

They’re sustainable

You wouldn’t think it, but super yachts can be quite eco-friendly.

Cassius the explorer boasts carbon-zero timber flooring and a sustainable bamboo dining table.

Plus, the vessel is made from a recycled Shelf Express supply vessel - how practical.

Instead of buying gas-guzzling yachts, the super-rich are keen on new diesel-hybrid tech, and there’s wind assist and (in the future) solar cloth sails, too.

And the Black Pearl (not from Pirates of the Caribbean, sorry) - the most famous sailing yacht in the world - has an electric generator powered by sails. It’s capable of crossing the Atlantic Ocean without burning any fuel!

David Beckham and his family continue to make the most of their summer holidays in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Amalfi Coast, Croatia and Saint-Tropez have been some of the destinations chosen by the Briton.

The former footballer has chosen Madsummer as his vessel, a luxury yacht valued at 224 million euros, with capacity for 12 people and built only three years ago.

A luxury of 1.6m euros per week

It has a swimming pool, a spa, sauna, gym and all kinds of resources for activities and life away from land.

It also has several floors inside, air conditioning, a lift and Wi-Fi, among other outstanding facilities.

In addition, as is to be expected, resources for water and/or underwater activities such as skis, jet skis, diving and fishing equipment, flyboard and more alternatives so that the fun never stops.

The Madsummer is not a yacht owned by the Beckhams, but is used for charter during the summer period.

The estimated rental price of the yacht is 1.6m euros per week.

It's a price that the former Real Madrid player has wanted to take advantage of to relax and be seen with other celebrities in Amalfi (Italy), where the family has met with friends such as Sarah Fergurson, ex-wife of Prince Andrew.

BRIT superstars David and Victoria Beckham have whisked their family away on a £1.6million a-week-yacht to the South of France.

The golden couple are soaking up the sunshine with their youngest kids Cruz, 17, and daughter Harper, 11, and a group of lucky pals while living in the ultimate lap of luxury.

David , 47, and Victoria , 48, have hit the pause button on their busy lives and have been recharging their batteries on deck of the luxury vessel, with Posh Spice spotted looking amazing in a red slinky bikini .

And though the footballing legend and fashion designer splashed out  £5million on their own yacht back in December, this is a much bigger vessel.

They've chartered the Madsummer to take them from Italy's Amalfi Coast to the playground of the rich and famous, the French Riviera .

It offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 10 suites, with 28 crew members on board waiting on the family hand and foot.

Incredible pictures of the luxury 311ft vessel - that boasts interios by designer Laura Sessa Romboli - reveal a 12 metre swimming pool, giant spa area, and room dedicated to diving onboard, as well as a gym.

There is a children's playroom and a outdoor dining area where the Beckhams can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner while taking in the stunning views.

The yacht also has an indoor dining room, bar, and even features a beach club and dancefloor.

Amazing Amenities The Beckhams Couldn’t Forget

The Beckhams not only got a lot of sunshine while on this boat. They also spent time with their family, including Brooklyn, Harper, and Cruz. David and his wife Victoria loved taking their family out to Italy, Florida, Spain, and other parts of the world while booking  the biggest SeaFair lavish yacht .

If you’ve ever been on the SeaFair mega yacht, you’d understand why. It is a charter yacht that can be used as a luxury venue for multiple occasions and events, from business conferences to parties. The supersized yacht was designed by Luiz de Basto and underwent a multi-million dollar makeover.

It received this makeover just before former soccer player David Beckham used it as a venue to film his Haig Club Whiskey ad. After he visited it, he told his wife all about it and told him that they had to get their family on it, even if they wouldn’t be buying it. After all, the yacht is worth $40 million. 

Think about that for a minute: a power couple that has over $1 billion to their name couldn’t afford this yacht but had to rent it instead. It’s not just a boat; it’s an adventure. The SeaFair has a unique design and plenty of room to party, especially if you have lots of friends you want to hang out with on the water. 

The  SeaFair is 228 feet long  and features four deck floors, including a sky deck. There are 11,000 square feet of conference space and $10,000 square feet of entertainment space. Let’s face it: there’s so much to do that you and your 300 best friends probably couldn’t get enough. 

In fact, the SeaFair mega yacht can accommodate up to 600 guests in two dining rooms and seven bars. The huge yacht is mainly docked at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami but travels up the coast of Florida to host events. It’s no wonder that David Beckham chose SeaFair for his hit commercial.

Recent Trip to Miami

The Beckham family recently took  a much-needed break vacationing  in Miami, Florida, and enjoying time on their yacht. While not quite as big as the massive SeaFair, their smaller version is definitely perfect for Cruz, Harper, Romeo, and Brooklyn. It’s a fun and unforgettable way to vacation. 

While in Miami, the family was invited to stay at singer Marc Anthony’s estate. Anthony is a good friend of the couple and lives in a posh Coral Gables neighborhood of the city. While here, Victoria and David spent time swimming, exercising, and enjoying Marc Anthony’s outgoing personality.

For example, they spent time in Anthony’s 12-bedroom Mediterranean estate, as well as  enjoying time on their yacht , cruising Biscayne Bay, and spending time in the Everglades. Exploring this exciting city has always been something they’ve enjoyed doing, including  spending time with Lionel Messi .

Clearly, the two  love their yacht  and plan on spending as much time on it as possible. Wouldn’t you? Along with Cruz, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Harper, it seems like they’re poised to travel the world. And with their children getting old enough to get married (Brooklyn specifically), it’s likely even more members will join them on their big yacht.

Easter Celebration with Marc Anthony

Their most recent trip isn’t the first or last time they’ve visited Anthony in Miami. For example, they visited Anthony in Miami in the spring of 2018 to celebrate Easter. They  brought along their children  (as usual) and had a lot of fun on their yacht with the Latin American singer.

For example, they enjoyed the break relaxing and playing on a yacht. There is plenty of space to relax and play on the 120-foot yacht. The interior features natural wood and white and blue accents. That natural beauty creates an attractive style that makes it an appealing and modern boat. 

Within its expansive interior, there is a salon, galley, and dining room, as well as two full bars and five guest suites. There’s also plenty of deck space with a wide swim platform, lounging areas, and a Jacuzzi. All these amenities make it very comfortable and enjoyable for visitors.

This trip is also not the first time that the Beckhams  celebrated Easter together . They often post pictures of their kids, including Cruz, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Harper, highlighting their growth and development. Their children seem well-adjusted and not at all spoiled by their parents’ wealth.

Other Yacht Excursions

The Beckhams are no strangers to spending vacations on yachts. Back in 2009, they were spotted on  fashion designer  Roberto Cavalli’s yacht, Freedom. Obviously, their time on Cavalli’s yacht must have worn off, and the two are now enjoying their own yachting experience with their family. 

Furthermore, during one long summer, the Beckhams visited the south of France and were invited to join good friend  Elton John , his husband David Furnish, and their children on their 164-ft mega yacht Wabi Sabi. John is well known for his warmth and generosity with people he loves. 

As a result, the families had a great time exploring the Côte d’Azur. They checked out plenty of shore destinations, had some fun at various concerts, and spent time exploring the region together. Like all doting parents, they even  brought along their kids  to make the experience even more enjoyable.

Will there be even more reports of these two enjoying their boat together with friends? Well, the celebrity world is a small one and famous people often spend lots of time together on vacations and beyond. Clearly, it’s likely that we haven’t seen the last of Victoria or David Beckham and their fantastic and unforgettable boat.

The Party of the Summer Is Apparently on David and Victoria Beckham’s Yacht

You can feel it coming every July, as predictably as the summer solstice before it: celebrity news going dark as everybody who’s anybody retreats to their European yachting vacations. Last year, it was Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde gliding through the Tyrrhenian Sea. Once upon a dream, off the coast of Sardinia, Beyoncé leapt from the aptly named Halo. This year, the yacht party of the summer is underway on Victoria and David Beckham’s floating paradise in St. Tropez, where a full cast of Beckhams are on board.

In addition to Victoria and David, Gigi Hadid was spotted at sea over the weekend—in an ethereal gossamer cover-up—embracing the soccer legend. (The supermodel is a close friend of Nicola Peltz , the actor who married the Beckhams’ eldest son, Brooklyn, this past April.) Cruz Beckham was also photographed engaging in the time-honored tradition of yacht PDA with his reported new girlfriend, Tana Holding. Most thrilling, however, have been the glimpses at the bacchanal behind the scenes, as evidenced by David’s recently posted video of Victoria returning to her Posh Spice roots—tube dress and all—and singing the Spice Girls classic “Stop” on what appears to have been karaoke night. Why, God, isn’t this vacation being filmed for its own answer to Below Deck ?

Because I apparently want to torture myself with the details of a vacation I will never take unless I am somehow adopted as an adult by the Beckhams: Their yacht—the Madsummer—is reportedly being chartered for around $1.6 million per week; it includes 10 suites, its own pool, a screening room, and a dance floor (perfect for Spice Girls karaoke). Yacht season is officially underway; where will it take us next?
