Playing to all its strengths, the newly revamped Mangusta 165 Evolution Maxi Open model delivers on all of the hugely popular draw cards of its predecessor, but with impressive new design features that take finesse to the next level, perfect for your yacht charter .
New features include an improved flybridge configuration, with additional Jacuzzi, large bar and stunning sundeck area and generous open-plan layout encompassing a stylish and modern interior. The newly designed exterior spaces also include a large aft dining table for 12 guests, as well as a wide sunbed for relaxing and bar area. There is a further lounge area with Jacuzzi located on the bow.

The real benefits can be found 'under the bonnet', where the new package of 4 MTU série 2000 engines deliver a vastly superior fuel efficient design. The compact package has freed up more space to install 4 Seakeeper 30HD units that provide perfectly aligned stability whilst cruising.
Accomodation is made up of 6 luxury cabins sleeping 13/14 guests, comprising a full-beam Master Suite and VIP cabin, both with ensuite and Hammam spa, plus a further 3 doubles and 1 convertible twin with pullman. In addition, a massage room on the lower deck has been added for some luxurious pampering.
A further 5 crew cabins for up to 9 crew members ensure the highest possible service at all times.

First 40m Mangusta Maxi Open 132E launched in Viareggio
Italian shipyard Overmarine has launched the first unit in a new line of maxi open yachts known as the Mangusta Maxi Open 132E. In June 2023, the model was sold to a US buyer and existing client of the builder by Jean-Claude Carme of TWW Yachts .
The 39.9-metre model is an evolution of the yard's existing 132 series, with key changes including a restyled profile and a new engine package that promises improved range and reduced fuel consumption. The project was managed by TWW Management and captain Hervé Le Gand.
The GRP yacht has a custom interior by the owner's design studio Iconia with bespoke changes including a modified flybridge, a pool on the foredeck and a "state-of-the-art" sound system. Overmarine's in-house design department has helmed the yacht's signature sporty lines.
Accommodation is for 12 guests across five cabins including an owner's suite with a walk-in wardobe-cum-dressing room and his-and-her bathrooms. The remaining accommodation comprises a VIP suite, two doubles and a twin, plus an additional three cabins for a complement of six crew.
A propulsion package that includes three MTU engines and three waterjets propels the new model to 35 knots, pared back to 30 knots when cruising.
"My clients think highly of Overmarine and enjoy spending time on their Mangusta 108," said Carme. "They weren’t in the market looking to replace but to upgrade. After weighing up many options with different builders, the new Mangusta Maxi Open 132E was a perfect fit for them and their plans for Mediterranean cruising. The fact that she was already a considerable way through construction was an added bonus."
This follows the launch of the third Mangusta 165 REV last month. The 49.9-metre model is the flagship of Mangusta's Maxi Open line.

Mangusta ’s latest fleet member is full of surprises.
The Mangusta 165 REV , which was launched this week at the Italian builder’s Viareggio yard, was inspired by the sports cars of the early 20th century and has a ton of distinctive automotive-style features.
As its moniker implies, the 165-footer is the flagship of the new Mangusta REV series of maxi open yachts. It follows in the footsteps of the bestselling Mangusta 165 of which the Overmarine brand has delivered 12 to date. There are, however, noticeable differences between the two. The newcomer has a fresh design and layout that takes creative cues from vintage four-wheelers.

The vessel’s exterior was penned by designer Igor Lobanov in collaboration with the in-house engineering department. (The duo also designed the Mangusta 104 REV series.) Crafted from composite, the hull is characterized by an aggressive profile and sleek, dynamic lines that Lobanov says were inspired by 1930s rides.
The stern is similar to a car, too. It is fitted with an aft door that opens “like the roof of a convertible” to reveal a secret 387-square-foot beach club. It comes equipped with foldable side terraces that also open up to give you a little more room. (We said there’d be surprises.) Elsewhere outdoors, the sundeck offers a bar, a lounge and a pool, while the foredeck sports another pool flanked by lounges. Oh, and there’s also a garage that can hold a tender and two Jet Skis.
The custom interior, meanwhile, centers around the spacious saloon, which also incorporates large fold-down balconies for extra space. There are four double staterooms and a VIP cabin on the lower deck, while the two-level owner’s stateroom can be found on the main deck. It spans 990 square feet and includes a personal office, a lounge and a full-beam bathroom.
The superyacht has the power of a supercar, too. It is equipped with four 2,600 hp Rolls-Royce engines and four Kamewa waterjets, which together push the vessel to a top speed of 34 knots. To top it off, Mangusta says the vessel uses 30 percent less fuel compared to the previous series.
The Mangusta 165 REV will be on display at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show. The next hull available for sale will be ready for delivery in summer 2023. That’s another nice surprise for you.

Mangusta Sells Hull No. 3 of its 110 Maxi Open Yacht

Italian yacht builder Mangusta has sold Hull No. 3 of its 110 maxi open series. The yacht is bound for the United States, with delivery expected in summer 2018.
“In five years we have sold eight vessels to the U.S., of which six [are] beyond 100 feet,” Francesco Frediani, Mangusta’s commercial director, stated in a press release. “This success demonstrates that American clients are familiar with and appreciate Mangusta maxi open yachts, acknowledging their aesthetics, functionality and technical quality.”
The Mangusta 110 has twin MTU 16V2000 M96L engines that allow a top speed of more than 33 knots. The yacht’s draft of less than 6 feet allows for shallow-water cruising, including in the Bahamas.
