The sundeck is spacious and two of the main features on this deck would be the Jacuzzi that overlooks the forward end of the deck and the long bar towards midships that can seat at least half the guest complement. There is a sizable table on the port side and can serve as spill over for those you cannot seat at the bar. Sunpad real estate is available flanking the Jacuzzi up front. The sundeck is kitted out with a grill on the starboard side, just forward of the bar area and with open teak deck areas it is no wonder the sundeck is also called the Party Deck onboard. If you are still willing to stay outside but wish for a slightly more formal corner to have dinner, you can descend to the aft bridge deck where there is a large table that can be set up to seat ten guests comfortably. Nearby granite-topped counter serving station with sink can help crew set-up the serving of guests at this table. The interior is where D’Natalin IV shines thanks to expert work from Carol Williamson of Carol Williamson + Associates. On any of the decks, the attention to detail is apparent and the cohesiveness of the design works perfectly to culminate the owners desired whims. The formal dining area is almost full beam and ready to seat ten or more of the yacht’s guests. The area echoes the mid-toned high-gloss wooden feel that pervades the gentleman’s interior concept. Creams and tans balance the woody feel in the form of the chair upholstery and hanging overhead chandelier fixtures. Towards the salon the look is broken up by use of subtle colouring . Cream colored sofas are prominent in the main salon along with cream lush carpeting but this color is broken up by splashes of vibrancy in the throw cushions and off blue in side chairs from the more formal area. A large table squares in the space with its very busy variations in the veins of the natural stone top. Forward on this same deck, is the master suite. This is the owners slice of heaven onboard and the room is full beam as you might expect dominated by oversized oval windows. The area consists of office, full-beam suite, large ensuite bathroom and is finished-off with heated floors. The base of the bed has pull-out drawers much like the side tables and forward below the large flat screen television. There is no real need to leave this spacious abode but there are guests to entertain! Other guests are slept on the lower deck and their rooms consist of five cabins. Two twins, two doubles and another suite that fits VIP-grade are situated on the lower deck. The Foyer is another area onboard that we can see the fine work of Carol Williamson. The confident play between high-gloss wood finishing and intricate natural inlayed stonework is evident. During daylight hours, the large side windows pour a wealth of natural light into the space. The soft artificial lighting mixes and creates a very welcoming area into the heart of D’Natalin IV . Even the curving stair cases that serve each deck receive the perfect finishing touches. Under-mounted LED lighting shines the way across each step to not only make a luxurious statement but add a functional facet to the lighting design. D’Natalin IV is powered by a pair of 1,650 horse power Caterpillar 3512C marine diesels. Top speed with these engines and her 499GT is around 17-knots although 14 or 15-knots is where she would usually cruise more efficiently. If longer distance cruising is required she can be dialed back to 10-knots to reach a 4,000 nautical mile range. LOA is 49.9-meters with an overall beam of 9.00-meters and a full-draft of 3-meters.
