Height size is based on overall height

Normally this means the Capital letters are the exact size selected. But when the letterstyle has letters that drop down or raise up, keep in mind the height selected will be the overall height.

What if you want something custom (ie - wavy, arched, mirrored)? No problem. After you order, email us the change (ie - "be sure to make the letters exactly...") and we'll be glad to make the change.

We've just taken the guess work out of creating a boat name design. With this online tool you can create a boat name design that fits the asthetics of your boat. Play around and be creative! You'll also notice you will be directed to create a hailing port . This is your city and state and is very common on boats. Typically the hailing port is small 2-3" tall and placed around the boat name on the aft hull portion. Hailing port is optional but recommended!

Our site is setup to guide you through the process of designing registration numbers . When using the proper section of our site we provide additional guidance, alert common issues, and sell numbers in a pair (by default). However , this isn't the right place for that!

Please be aware the lettering you are designing currently is sold individually .

You may want to reduce the size of your numbers.

Your numbers are longer than normal. They are " wide.

We recommend registration numbers be no more than 24-28" wide. It is vital to measure your boat and verify the numbers you are ordering fit your boat. We cannot tell you if what you are purchasing will fit your specific boat.

State Spacing Requirements

Many states require specific spacing between the prefix and suffix of your registration number. We've made that process very easy using this feature. Just check the box and indicate the spacing using the drop down options.

If you're wondering why this option is already enabled it is because the state you entered requires this spacing.

Our site will get an approximate mock up with the spacing, however, please keep in mind the site will not be able to get it exact. We will review the design and make sure the spacing is correct before we produce it. Keep in mind we will add spacing into the design while keeping the size the same.

Please Note: Width of a letter spacing will use the approximate average width of the letters of the font you chose excluding the letter 'I' or 'L'.

Why are some colors hidden?

We only allow certain combinations of specialty colors. Colors like Ultra Metallic, Reflective, and Fluorescent for example cannot be mixed together on the same graphic.

A few additional options are available when doming is enabled. This includes the addition of chrome mirror.

To view all of the colors available you need to change all of options you've selected back to a standard color.
