Boat: Sunreef 60 Loft
a 60ft Sunreef, the problem is I can not find any information or even you tube that will show me what they sail like. I'm not looking to break any transatlantic records but I certainly don't want to be at the back of the fleet when we sail across in the .
Every tells you how their range is the best and the rest are crap, It like dealing with car salesman.

its beautiful with every mod con so I know it wont be fast but at 60ft it would want to have some go.
Has anybody seen or been on one whilst sailing in above 10 kn?

Sunreef are famous for producing big, sleek, luxurious sailing and power cats – welcome to the “Baby” of the range: the Sunreef 50.

This yacht from the Polish superyacht builder is a clever move to appeal to sailing couples looking to sail oceans—or head to their favourite cruising grounds—without the need for a crew. They are targeting a similar market to Privilege.

This 50 footer has all the high end spec and design of their larger yachts such as the generous use of teak, luxurious cabins and opulent master suite. You can extend the aft cockpit with a hydraulic platform if you want, or head up to the wet bar and sun beds on the fly-bridge. It’s a fully customisable, top end luxury catamaran.

They call this the Compact Luxury Catamaran. She features many of the characteristics of her larger 60 and 80 ft sisters in 2 50ft hulls and you can sail her without crew. Think of the cash you’ll save!

It’s what Sunreef is all about isn’t it? Pure luxury at anchor and the 50 doesn’t disappoint.

The amount of space you get on the new 50 has to be seen to be believed. Even though this is the Baby of the range, this is by no means a cramped boat by anyone’s definition: Sunreef have used the available footprint cleverly. The saloon is a bit of a Tardis and it spills seamlessly onto the aft cabin with its alfresco dining area and wet bar. Steps lead directly onto a sumptious fly-bridge with lots of seating and lounging areas and the helm of course.

Forward, you can also access the forward cockpit (a feature well developed in Leopard Catamarans), but as you would expect this area is somewhat more luxurious on a Sunreef 50.

In the hulls especially, you will need to get your drawing board out and work with the designers from Poland as this is where much of the customisation takes place. The #1 hull was designed for cruising around the world, so the owner went for a huge master suite, office and bathroom in one hull with guest cabins in the other. This is where the quality of the finish and the sheer available space make these boats stand out compared to yachts of a similar length. Other options include a 5 cabin version with room for crew.

With all this comfort, there has to be a trade off of course, and that is sailing performance as Sunreef catamarans are not the lightest on the market. These boats are all about luxury at anchor and getting you where you need to go in a reasonable time safely. But you are not going to be winning any races at the Voiles de Saint Barth. And to be fair, Sunreef have never claimed otherwise.

Having said that, on the 50, the boat has been set up for short-handed sailing and with the lightwind sails in your sailing locker you should move nicely along in a breeze. With electric winches and furlers and everything working properly, you should be able to handle this boat with one decent deck hand. If you were off on a long voyage though, that high boom height would worry me (problems with reefing lines anyone?), and the exposed helm position is obviously not ideal in 35 knots of wind in a big sea while you are trying to keep a close eye on everyone else on the boat. I think at the very least you’d need to make sure that you had plenty of back-up systems on board to minimise risk.

They will be launching an Amber version – a limited edition model that will come with a carbon mast and boom – that is specifically targeting worldwide cruisers. That should get the weight down and the speed up considerably.

Most people who buy a Sunreef won’t be sailing around Cape Horn. They’ll be wanting to cruise safely at 8 knots on a reach to their favourite anchorage where they’ll probably be the most luxurious boat in the bay. And on this count, the Sunreef 50 delivers.

There’s a rapidly accelerating trend towards maximising the amount of solar power installed on cruising catamarans, which can be seen being taken up a step on the new Sunreef 60 Eco.

Given multihulls ‘ extensive deck areas this makes sense in many ways and obviates the need for a separate diesel generator on an increasing number of craft.

Sunreef has taken this a whole stage further with its latest 60ft sailing catamaran, the Sunreef 60 Eco which is equipped with integrated solar panels that are even built into the hull sides, as well as the superstructure and hardtop. In total up to 17kW of solar can be accommodated in this way. The solar panels were developed in-house and, although they are less than 1mm thick, the Polish company claims they provide a very high degree of resistance to shock and abrasion.

The boat has electric propulsion via twin 70kW electric motors, driven by lithium battery banks of 140-200kW capacity, depending on the option specified. These are sized to be able to run house loads continuously, even overnight, without recourse to the twin 80kW diesel generators that also serve as range extenders.

Sunreef 80 Eco catamaran

Sunreef Yachts has just started building what it’s claiming will be “the world’s most advanced sustainable luxury catamaran .”

The electric vessel, known as the Sunreef 80 Eco , blends the latest green technologies with the reliability of a day-sailer and the comfort of a superyacht. It was first unveiled last year as part of the Polish yard’s new Eco line that comprises a handful of vessels spanning from 40 to 100 feet.

Designed and engineered in-house, the 80-footer takes a holistic approach to eco cruising. It can harness and store renewable energy both above and below the waterline, which means it can sail silently sans emissions for days on end. In fact, the yard says it has infinite range.

Arguably the most innovative feature is the vessel’s solar skin. This photovoltaic system will see the world’s lightest solar cells integrated into the hull sides, superstructure, bimini and carbon mast. Covering a total surface of approximately 1,600 square feet, the skin will generate up to 34 kWp of clean energy that will be stored in custom-engineered lithium batteries. It also gives the multihull a cool, futuristic look.

When it comes to propulsion, the cat takes a multipronged approach. It can either run on its two, energy-efficient 180kW electric engines or the wind. While under sail, the vessel employs an advanced hydro generation system to actually recover energy from the propeller rotation. Together, the two propellers can generate more than 15 kWh while sailing around 7 knots. This energy is then used to power the engines and onboard appliances.

“The Sunreef 80 Eco is all about responsible sailing and relying on renewable energy,” Sunreef’s founder and president, Francis Lapp, said in a statement . “We are now pairing the industry’s most innovative solar power system with hydro generation.”

The vessel also sports a high-tech water management system, highly efficient air conditioning, wind generators and non-toxic bottom paints. As for décor, it’s fully customizable and showcases a range of ethically sourced sustainable materials and furnishings.

Intended for long offshore adventures, the Sunreef 80 Eco is expected to hit the water this summer.

For the resumption of the Cannes boat show, Sunreef Yachts came along in force, with three sailboat models in Port Canto (the 50, the 70 and the 80) and two motor units (the 60 and the 80) on show in the Vieux Port. These five models integrate the new range, initially presented in 2017 for the sailboats and then in 2019 for the powercats. It’s worth noting that the first models to be sought by customers - both sail and power - were the 80-footers. Five 80 Power models have been delivered in the last two years and a dozen 80 Sail models in the last four years, proof of the success of this line, which has cleverly counterbalanced the Supreme line, which had been judged by some to be somewhat extreme in terms of volume and design. In fact, the volume offered by the “classic” line remains the same, but the more curved and fluid lines highlight a more evocative maritime world. The semi-custom concept works well because even in the smaller sizes offered by the manufacturer (50 and 60 feet), the interior finish is new to each new order. Sunreef 60 Sailing Catamaran: Yacht Style Review

In the Brazilian tribal language of Tupi-Guarani, Oca means
house. It’s an entirely fitting name for the fifth Sunreef 60 sailing catamaran, which was designed to be a comfortable home at sea for a young family with world-roaming ambitions.

The 18.3m cat with a 10.2m beam is a new breed conceived by the Polish builder to blend long-range cruising capabilities, high-performance sailing, luxurious amenities and comfortable accommodation for a family or charter guests.

The model slips into the builder’s current range of sailing cats, above the 50 and below the 70 and 80. The latter was premiered with the first 60 at last September’s Cannes Yachting Festival, revealing a new design ethos.

“The 60 follows the design guidelines of the whole range, which means having high bulwarks, a bow terrace, an aft platform, free-standing furniture. Only the proportions change as the size of the yacht changes,” says Sunreef’s interior designer Marta Kaszuba, who carried out the layout modifications and interior design on Oca .

The interiors blend seamlessly with the outside, the aft glass doors sliding back to open up an enormous indoor-outdoor living area. “The aft platform, aft cockpit and saloon are flush, creating one enormous space,” she says.

Oca also has more than a few amenities that you won’t usually find on a 60ft sailboat, such as a foredeck lounge and jacuzzi up on the flybridge.

FRONT LOUNGE

The 60 is also the smallest Sunreef yet to have a bow terrace, a tranquil space found just forward of the pilothouse with an L-shaped settee to starboard and flanked by two sunpads. This lounge area is the ideal height to enjoy the views as you cruise, but it’s lowered for protection from sea-spray and a sense of privacy.

You can access it from the side decks, but the terrace is best accessed directly from the saloon, with a door leading out to the foredeck. When this forward door and aft glass doors are all open, the main deck is transformed into one glorious open-air living room, inviting in the breeze and allowing easy movement.

“Starting with this range, the forward terrace will be on all Sunreef boats,” says Aleksandra Chabros, Charter Manager for Sunreef Yachts Charter. “This has become a new norm and I keep hearing from charter clients, ‘I only want a boat with the front lounge’.”

The aft platform holds a 3m tender that can ferry five guests to shore. This platform is flush with the aft deck, so when the tender is launched the cockpit space is extended. Likewise, when the platform is lowered to the waterline, it connects between the dual staircases that lead up to the main deck and creates a wonderful beach club.

It’s also the hub for watersports and Oca packs plenty in her toy box including Seabobs, kite-surfing equipment (the deckhand is a kite-surfing instructor) and an eFoil.

Sunreef is proud of its ability to offer clients truly customisable layouts, not merely options to choose between. As Oca is designed to go the distance, layout modifications include a laundry room in the port bow and a walk-in provision pantry attached to the crew quarters in
the aft port hull. Other changes were made with safety in mind, such as choosing a white non-skid surface on the side decks instead of teak.

CRUISE AND CHARTER

This summer the yacht will be based in the south of France, Sardinia and Corsica, then in the winter will cross for the Caribbean season. The plan is to then start heading around the world, to Asia and the South Pacific.

The owner is an avid yachtsman who plans to do some ocean crossings himself, yet he’s also hired a very capable crew of three to look after Oca and her guests.

Captain Tristan Bataillard and chef Louise Dagger cut their teeth crewing on much larger yachts, but traded in their roles on a 60m motor yacht to manage the programme on a 60-footer, bringing a wealth of big-boat knowledge with them. Indeed, Dagger’s cuisine is as good as or better than any found on yachts many times Oca ’s size.

The owners did their homework before selecting Sunreef, comparing a number of catamaran brands.

“Sunreef was not my first option when purchasing a new boat, but I have grown to like Sunreef more by the day,” the owners say. “I strongly believe Sunreef has already become a game-changer in this niche market due to the high quality of product and service level.”

Once the owners had decided on the yard, they heard about Sunreef Yachts Charter Management and an idea was sparked. They could put their yacht in the charter market, allowing charter guests to join when the family isn’t on board, while the owners and guests alike could enjoy cruising in far-flung locations as the yacht made her way around the world.

HOMELY INTERIOR

The interior is certainly homely, but at the same time avoids the trap of being overly personal, as seen on many yachts used for both private cruising and charter. The owners worked closely with the Sunreef design team to create an interior that would be comfortable yet sophisticated.

The decor is a symphony of taupes, creams, whites and sandy tones, while colour drops in with a splash of baby blue and sky blue throw cushions. Each stateroom is defined by the colourful soft goods, in either green, purple, blue or yellow. There’s even a sense of the outside world being brought inside, a subtle beach motif without a hint of any seashell prints.

There are three staterooms in the starboard hull, two accessed 
via the forward stairwell and one aft, each with its own en-suite.
The master takes over the port hull, and in total Oca can sleep eight guests. Future owners can choose an alternative cabin arrangement to suit their needs.

Materials are elegant and simple, such as the pearl beige oak floor and silver-grey oak furniture. The well-arranged saloon has an alabaster marble decorative wall, with clean white kitchen counters.

To starboard is a sofa and table, which can be raised for dining or lowered. Just behind the sofa is a raised settee, a bit like an indoor sunpad, which enjoys views out of the wraparound windows, an ideal place to curl up with a book.

A long central island dissects the saloon fore to aft, serving to both separate the galley and provide plenty of prep space for the chef. Oca ’s crew enjoys involving guests as much as possible, such as offering cooking lessons for the kids.

“Even if people want to help cook sometimes or make their own coffee, we accommodate them. We try to be a high standard, but we want people to feel at home,” says the Captain.

BIG PERFORMER

On paper, 18.3m might not sound big, but what the Sunreef 60 lacks in length she more than makes up for in space with her hefty beam. Catamaran owners will attest, two hulls are certainly better than one, and the 60’s volume is particularly impressive.

“Theoretically, it’s a 60-footer. However, even compared to other catamarans, her volume is that of a 70-footer,” Chabros says. “It’s all in the construction, since the hulls are higher and thinner, the saloon is higher, allowing the shipyard to create 225sqm of living space.”

The design is also key to her performance attributes, explains the Captain. “Because of the thin hull and the high, narrow bow, she doesn’t hit the waves but cuts through them, so you feel much less impact.”

Bataillard piloted Oca on her 3,000nm shakedown cruise from Poland, with particularly rough weather in the Baltic Sea. “She fared fine,” he says, noting a maximum speed of 10 knots when on beam reach with 15-20 knots of wind.

Her sail plan is ample, with a 112sqm mainsail, 90sqm genoa and 185sqm gennaker, while she can make seven knots with the twin 110hp engines.

In inclement weather, the Sunreef 60 can be piloted from inside, with a helm that has everything except the wheel, so the yacht can be controlled from here when on autopilot. The main helm station is up on the flybridge, which has a grill, dining table, sunpads, and – a truly rare find on a yacht this size – a jacuzzi with glass panels.

You can easily imagine Oca moored in a picturesque bay, the
kids splashing around in the spa tub or snorkelling in the sea as their parents watch over them from a comfortable seat in their sophisticated, spacious and abundantly liveable home.

In its 20 years of constructing high-end custom catamarans, Sunreef has built a unique and enviable place in the world of multihulls.

Founded by Frenchman Francis Lapp, the Polish brand has made a global name for itself for its large and luxurious catamarans – and is now combining these assets with eco-friendly technology. So, is the innovative Sunreef 80 Eco trying to solve an impossible equation? We went in search of the answer in the waters of the Gulf.

In the Dubai Marina district, near the artificial islands of Palm Jumeirah, Sunreef’s first Eco sailing cat fits perfectly into its environment. Everything in Dubai is about excess, whether it’s the length of the pontoons or the relentless heat, but we arrive at the 80 Eco in a small car – electric, of course.

Lapp is the owner of the yacht, naming it Marie-Joseph in tribute to his parents, with his family travelling to the UAE from France for this special launch event. The catamaran is worth the trip, exhibiting electric propulsion, intelligent energy management and new solar panel technology.

The shipyard’s green tech is most evident in the photovoltaic cells integrated into the metallic navy-blue hull and superstructure, which shine like a thousand lights under the Gulf sun.

MONITORING ALL SYSTEMS

At either the lower helm or on the flybridge, the large touch screens allow you to control and monitor all on-board functions, from the two 180kW electric motors to the opening and closing of the electric curtains. The ergonomics and reactivity of the interfaces really are a credit to the shipyard.

Lapp initially worked in Poland in electricity for the construction industry and his experience in the field has helped Sunreef pioneer onboard technology. Three years and six months after presenting the electric Sunreef 60 sailing yacht E in Cannes, we can see how successfully the technology has been mastered.

What’s more, operating everything is intuitive. Monitoring of the main battery bank, composed of five lithium units of 183 Ah at 600V each, is the cornerstone of the system. State of charge, discharge, temperature, voltage, consumption – all the information is immediately accessible and easily readable in figures or graphs.

With fingertip control, you can switch to the page for the two electric motors. Like the batteries, whose compartment is air-conditioned, they’re monitored by thermal cameras that detect any abnormal rise in temperature. The interface also allows monitoring of diesel tanks, fresh water, waste water, pumps, lighting, navigation lights and so on.

Delivering a catamaran that’s both innovative and reliable was a major challenge. Many functions incorporate redundancy, with one piece of equipment in use and another on standby, but immediately available. This is the case with the inverter, working off the 24V batteries to power lighting, electronics and blinds.

Somewhat incongruously, the boat also has two generators as a safety backup, although they hadn’t been used so far, according to the skipper. In the event of the batteries’ amperage dropping too low, a generator would start automatically. Manually switched on for a demonstration, it’s inaudible in its double cocoon.

SOLAR COVERAGE

On board the Sunreef 80 Eco, the company’s engineers have managed to install 1,720sqft (160sqm) of solar panels and this is the first yacht featuring the technology across the hull topsides and around the carbon mast, which is conductive. It’s a real technological achievement, described as a revolution by the shipyard.

In addition to covering an exceptional area, these panels have unique characteristics. They’re less than a millimetre thick, as strong as the composite hull, flexible, relatively light at 0.3 lbs per square foot (1.5kg/sqm) and efficient.

As no existing solar technology met such demanding specifications, Sunreef embarked on a new business by designing – and now manufacturing – their own photovoltaic cells. The connections, the installation, and the way to replace any cells in the event of damage are all jealously guarded secrets.

At anchor, when conditions are good during the day, the energy produced by the solar panels on the Sunreef 80 Eco can surpass the consumption of the boat, even with the air-conditioning on. The charging intensity, due only to solar energy, can theoretically reach 20kW.

HEADING OUT

As we come off the dock, the absolute silence and the total lack of vibration offer a new sensation on board. Instead, we hear the soft notes of a virtuoso pianist playing live in the immense saloon, the live music highlighting the yacht’s noiseless performance. Furthermore, a hydrogeneration system can add to the on-board charging systems.

The 5ft 3in-high windows, the aft bay window opening to a width of more than 10ft and the cameras in the mast offering a bird’s eye view of the platform allow piloting from the lower helm station, which is on starboard side. But it’s from the flybridge that, with his fingertips, the skipper plays with the two motors and the bow thruster.

Heading out to the first anchorage under motor, we reached 10 knots at full power. More reasonably, the cruising speed is around seven knots. The consumption is then 30kW per engine and the electronic displays assure us we have 8hrs of full autonomy without any recharging.

Apart from the aft hydraulic platform, everything on board is electric, from the winches to the furling of the headsails and the cooker hobs.

Given that the most ecological way to travel is under sail, the fully-battened mainsail is traditionally mounted on batten cars and not a furler. The expected performance under sail in light winds is modest, but the waterline length ensures it averages above 10 knots if the wind exceeds 15 knots.

CUSTOM-MADE INTERIOR

As always with boats from the Gdansk manufacturer, the layout inside is entirely modular, both in the distribution of volumes and in the decor. With thick carpeting, noble materials and careful lighting, we are firmly in the world of luxury that seduces both celebrities – from tennis legend Rafael Nadal to F1 star Fernando Alonso – and more discreet owners.

Invariably, aboard a catamaran with the dimensions of a tennis court, the space and volumes are impressive, starting from the aft cockpit and into the vast saloon, which is flanked by two large C-shaped sofas. There’s enough space between them to set up a large dining table. Heading forward, you pass the helm and the bar on the way to the foredeck or forward terrace.

There are multiple options for the layout of each hull. On this unit, the galley occupies the aft end of the port side, while forward are a guest cabin and the owner’s suite, both accessible via a second companionway.

The cabins offer incredible levels of luxury

In the starboard hull, there are three cabins including one for the crew. The night zone offers controlled temperature, absolute silence, high-end bedding, marble in the bathrooms and a sea view through the large windows.

Up on the flybridge, the 360-degree view is impressive, and under way, the apparent wind is quickly noticeable. On the other hand, at anchor it will be particularly solicited.

Under its rigid roof (covered with solar panels), the flybridge hosts a helm, a saloon area for 10 guests, an outdoor galley, a lounge with modernist armchairs and even two treadmills. Too bad these run on electricity instead of producing it!

The unit we tested, Sunreef 70 Anima, had two large sofas and numerous storage units, a large coffee table and several small cabinets, with plenty of free space on both sides of the table. The layout with the galley below deck allows creation of a master cabin larger than any in this category, as well as three guest cabins and a large crew cabin.

On the unit we tested, one of the guest cabins was turned into a kids’ cabin with Pullman beds. This layout sleeps eight and is perfect for luxury charter . The other available layout offers four guest cabins with en-suites and direct access to the aft.

The builder chose luxury materials and fabrics for all cabins, adding to the master some extras, like a pop-up TV, a walk-in wardrobe, and an en-suite in gray and black marble. In the salon, there is another large TV, hidden when not in use ad served by an electric lowering system, which can turn any evening into a cozy movie evening, especially when discreet LED lights are on.

Behind the salon, toward the bow and between the al fresco galley and the lower deck passage, a wide and safe staircase leads directly to the fly deck. This deck is especially cozy, with a command post (served by a bench) on the right, a small galley behind it, and a sectional large enough to seat all guests at the same time. Behind the sofa there are several sunbeds, hiding below storage space large enough to fit a bike.

Hydraulic winches for the mainsail are placed laterally, right above gennaker/genoa commands, and two other winches are at the mast heel. All of this in co-operation with digital systems and the Dockmate – which allows wireless engine and thruster control while docking – makes maneuvering easy and safe even with minimal crew.

Dynamic design and almost endless customization options are the most interesting features of this new model, already popular with previous Sunreef owners, equally skilled in sailing the waters of the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic and the North Sea.

In terms of the exterior, the Eco 70 actually changed very little in comparison to the standard Sunreef 70 , which means the interior is still brimming with advanced solutions. Every inch of the hull is covered with Sunreef solar panels with peak regeneration capacity of up to 30 kW, whose flexibility allows perfect adherence to the rounded surfaces (143 square meters in total) of the hull, the fly bridge and the roof.

Their minimal weight translates into maximum efficiency (less than 5.2 kg / kWh). Ecology was also taken into account in the interior, but not at the expense of luxury, so all fabrics are natural and sustainably sourced.

Presence of 285 kW to 475 kW 622V battery and two generators (2 x 75 kW) that serve the two 90 kW electric engines influenced the size of the fuel and water tanks, which are slightly smaller than usual, but this does not affect range in any way. All of this smart engineering is cleverly hidden and hasn’t damaged the style and the overall sporty feeling of the Eco 70.

I toured the Sunreef 70' at the 2010 Miami Boat Show in February. Sunreef's marketing director Ewa Stachurska took me through the boat. This was the 5th boat they had launched and she was quite proud of the level of finish work they had achieved. A casual glance is all that was needed to be utterly stunned by that statement. A closer look left me cringing... and wondering what the other four boats looked like? Sunreef's designs are attractive; possibly the only cats to capture that element, which has gone missing with most of the multihulls on the market. But that's where the excitment ends. The level of finish and detail on these boats is not on par with any of the yachts we have reviewed on YF. It's not even close. As we stepped inside, hoping for redemption, it only got worse. The interior layout, ergonomics and space planning were not well conceived. For instance, you could not stand upright at the helm because the slope of the windcreen, where it met the ceiling, was too low for anyone standing 5'10" or taller. I won't go into the inferior, whoops... I mean interior joinery. I have subsequently stopped running the numerous press releases the company sends us. And we won't be doing any reviews.

I didn't even make it inside this boat at Miami, but based on the questionable finish on the hull that I saw, apparently I did not miss anything. Cracking in the finish and noticable repairs and such on the port hull had me scratching my head: if the good side is to the dock, how does the other side look?

Good for YachtForums: not one responder made the obvious Polish joke. I, however, don't have that tact and that's what the Sunreef 70 is. Capt. Tom saw the hull damage at Miami and the sales people were saying it was caused during ship transit and there wasn't time to repair it. Nevertheless, it did show that as Sunreef transitions from aluminum construction to composites, they are continuing to rely on gallons of Bondo to fair what can only be described as a poorly molded and rippled hull. And that showed in some areas of the hull where the fiberglass had obviously been laid up by skilled welders. The Miami boat had a dark wenge interior that was very Euro, but so dark that you needed a flashlight to poke around the guest cabins (with tiny windows) even though there was supposedly a very sophisticated lighting system. The salon? Huge, but a colossal waste of space. Guests sitting on a couch have to turn sideways to watch television? On the other side of the salon is the biggest wetbar I've ever seen. And in between is enough space to film Dancing With The Stars. Step up to the pilothouse and you'll see why you never want to be close to a Sunreef on the water: the skipper can only see straight ahead. With no side windows and a low ceiling, the view is akin to peering out of a WWII concrete bunker. Oh, wait, this was built in Poland. Right. Add to that a settee in the pilothouse placed so low that guests can't see out, and you have to wonder. The master stateroom is gigantic, but it's just empty space and with a limited view outside. And the guest cabins are arranged so that access to the berths means climbing over your bed partner. Could be good news, could be bad. It almost seemed as though the people who designed the exterior never talked to those who designed the interior. Overall fit and finish of the joinery was right up there to Motel Six standards. In fact, I've had better water views from a Motel Six than from this "luxury yacht". I have to wonder about a yacht so badly arranged and with such a low level of quality in areas I can see. What's going on where I can't look?
That is really to bad we were really hoping they would be built better then that. And they do look good in pictures. Does anyone know about Prout line of cats. I thank you all for the info that will save us a lot of time and money. Thank you John

Thanks Brian Eiland, Yes, my interest is for Catamaran 60 ' up to 65 ' of candles with 4 or 5 complete berths. I look to used base year 2003/2005, prices lower. Yes, I understand the problems informed in the site, many prefer to wait better conditions of time, therefore the life in catamaran is comfortable, sail-boat follows the motionless front therefore or sailing the life it is equal. Catamarans of 60/65' all has air conditioning, the heat of the kitchen goes for is, today has environment controllers who do not leave moisture.
