Wasn't what I thought it was going to be but I very exiting trip with the ladies. This was a 30 ft boat so it was 8 people including the captain and 1st mate. The cleanliness of the inside cabin could have been much better, cans,trashy and just an overall disaster, but what made it really enjoyable is being with friends. The price was reasonable for 6 including tip$370, for 2 hours

What a fabulous sail with Andrew and Connie! Great weather accompanied by great conversation about history and landmarks in Savannah. The "pastel sky" that we witnessed at sunset was breathtaking! Thank you!

I'm a native of Savannah and well rounded with the area but wanted to find something different and intimate to do for my boyfriend's birthday. This sunset sail was perfect. Very intimate and different for the both of us. We were allowed to bring snacks and beverages and enjoyed the views of the water, homes in the area and of course the sunset! Connie and Steve (?) were great host! I have all my friends asking for this information! Highly recommended!

SAVANNAH’s onboard highlights include a 9m swimming pool, a full beach club and spa plus a breathtaking underwater lounge for the ultimate charter experience.

With six luxurious ensuite staterooms, SAVANNAH is capable of welcoming up to 12 guests onboard. A masterpiece of modern design, SAVANNAH’s owner’s suite is located on the private upper deck. The bedroom features a show-stopping oval skylight overhead and wall-to-wall full-length windows on all sides which flood the room with light.

The owner’s suite opens into a huge marble bathroom plus a walk-in dressing room and a cosy study. Custom-built pantograph doors lead out onto the private upper deck area. Spacious and light, SAVANNAH’s beautifully finished VIP suite is located on the main deck. It includes an ensuite bathroom and offers sweeping views of the ocean.

SAVANNAH’s guest accommodation includes two double and two twin staterooms each with an ensuite bathroom on the main deck. 

SAVANNAH’s main deck features an open-plan layout with two curved salons linked by a central corridor. Innovative glass doors can be removed to create a seamless connection with the weather deck. SAVANNAH’s striking formal dining room also features curved glass doors which can be opened for indoor/outdoor dining. Equipped with an oval dining table for 10 guests. SAVANNAH is equipped with a state-of-the-art private gym, an onboard spa and a Moroccan hammam.

On the aft deck, you’ll find an underwater lounge. The first of its kind in the world that can also be transformed into a cinema room.

Boasting a wealth of alfresco entertainment options, SAVANNAH is equipped with a remarkable nine-meter swimming pool on the main deck. Surrounded by loungers and leading down to the vast bathing platform, this is the ideal spot to relax with family and friends.

Sail Savannah first raised its sails in 2019 with the desire to offer a unique nautical experience along the coast of Savannah, GA. We believe that everyone, whether visitor or local, should get a glimpse of the beautiful water that surrounds our city.

Sail Savannah’s founder, Captain Savage, first developed his passion for sailing in the company of family and friends.

As his love for the sport grew, he knew he wanted to share the experience with anyone who wanted a taste of the sea.

The journey begins on Wilmington Island, a quaint barrier island on the outskirts of downtown Savannah. Whether you want to be in on the action as part of the crew or you want to sit back and enjoy a peaceful and serene day at sea, Sail Savannah strives to make your sail an experience you won’t forget.

From cheerful dolphins to soaring great blue herons, a world of possibilities awaits you on our sails through the Lowcountry. Enjoy breathtaking views and gorgeous sunsets as you set sail in the company of family and friends, old or new!

The Sail Savannah Crew

In sailing, a captain is only as good as his crew, and we take that very seriously. Our team at Sail Savannah is made up of some of the saltiest sailors you’ll find in the area. We come from all different backgrounds, but on the water we are brought together by our love of sailing!

Each sail is run by a Coast Guard-licensed captain and first mate. Our goal is to make your trip as fantastic and safe as possible. Whether you are on a weekend getaway, bachelorette trip, or reuniting with family and friends, we are here to serve you. We may be light on the sea shanties, but we are always full of stories and knowledge to share as we set sail along the stunning Georgia coast.

Your Sail Savannah Captains

Captain Savage first developed his skill and zest for sailing in the waters surrounding Savannah. His love for the sea led him to embark on sailing adventures around the world. With every return home, his desire to show visitors and locals the hidden wonder of the Lowcountry from his perspective grew.

Captain Ed honed his sailing skills throughout the country across multiple decades, and finally found home on the waters of Savannah. He is an expert in sailing, seamanship, and our local marine biology. When not sailing, he manages to find the time to be the Commodore of our local sailing club and patent his own inventions (seriously – you should ask him about this!).

Sailing Classes

If you are looking for more hands-on experience, then check out our ASA sailing school! We are the only ASA sailing school certified by the American Sailing Association (ASA) in Savannah and the surrounding area. We have spent many years gaining knowledge and experience sailing at sea, and our desire is to show others the way. Our classes are designed to teach you all that you need to know about the basics of sailing and safety, and we hope that you walk away with a passion for it.

By the end of our ASA 101 Basic Keelboat class, you’ll be able to skipper a sloop-rigged keelboat of approximately 25 to 30 feet in length in light to moderate winds (up to 15 knots) and sea conditions. You’ll have gained knowledge of basic sailing terminology, parts and functions, helm commands, basic sail trim, points of sail, buoyage, seamanship and safety, including basic navigation rules to avoid collisions and hazards. You’ll be confident and capable at sailing at your next opportunity!

Sail Savannah CREW

Captain Savage Once an aerospace engineer, he left the tarmac to explore the high seas. Building Sail Savannah has been a great adventure and his favorite view is a Savannah sunset over the water.

Captain Ed Sailor, engineer, inventor, and chiropractor are all accurate descriptions of this salty sailor. But take note of the one that comes first!

Captain Phil Our favorite captain from the South... the South of England that is! He can spin a yarn with the best of them and may provide a sea shanty or two.

Captain Angela In the 2022 season she won Sail Savannah's award for the most exotic sailor. She hails from the states, but you'll often find her sailing all over the world!

Each cabin and lounge has been designed to maximise the visual and human experience, the awe-inspiring underwater lounge and master suite, with its wall of glass and vast oval skylight, being two notable moments in this yacht’s interior story.

Interior Design & Engineering

The interior of the SAVANNAH motor yacht is flooded with light thanks to her peerless use of wall glass that wraps around her decks. She’s home to the first-ever Nemo lounge: a partially submerged room with glass walls that allow guests to literally see under the waterline.

You get a real sense of space when you head inside the main deck of the SAVANNAH yacht. The main salon is secured by sliding curved-glass doors and feels like an extension of the aft deck. It leads to a second salon, with a further salon and dining area on the owner’s deck above.

With just 12 guests accommodated across her 83.5m, you can expect to sleep in spacious rooms. The upper deck is home to a luxurious, light-flooded owner’s suite with a wall of glass and a large skylight, plus a separate office, a marble en suite, and a large seating area outside. The 36m/118'1" 'XOXO' (ex. Savannah) motor yacht built by shipyard Intermarine is available for charter for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by American designer Luiz de Basto Designs.

Boasting an array of sumptuous living areas laid out invitingly to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere onboard, motor yacht XOXO is the perfect luxury charter yacht for friends and family.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2001, XOXO offers guest accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising a master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins. There are 5 beds in total, including 1 king, 2 queen and 2 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Keeping comfortable and entertained on XOXO is easy thanks to the available amenities including a deck jacuzzi, perfect to enjoy the scenery with your favourite drink in hand.

XOXO benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter including Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 11 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 2,400 nautical miles from her 28,387 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. An on board stabilization system ensures comfort when underway.

Onboard XOXO has a range of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Guests can feel the wind in their hair and jump the waves on one of the two Yamaha WaveRunners. Additionally, there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. In addition there are wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough XOXO also features fishing equipment, beach games, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. XOXO features two tenders, but leading the pack is a 9.75m/32' NauticStar Tender to transport you in style.

XOXO is available upon request for charter this summer. She is already accepting bookings this winter for cruising in the Caribbean.
