Kai Kanani’s Adventure Sunset Sail is a two-hour sail featuring live music, a stellar menu from Wailea’s own Spoon & Key Market , and an open bar full of local spirits such as Ocean Vodka and Kula Rum , as well as wine from Ulupalakua’s MauiWine . At sunset, we pour their sparkling wine for a sunset toast. 

As the only catamaran in South Maui, we sail alone with the ocean, our canvas, and the wind as the brush.* Our captain and crew are there to serve you and your friends and make the tour as comfortable as possible. Sit back and enjoy what we think will be the best evening of your Maui vacation.

Enjoy a premium bar with local craft beers and handcrafted premium cocktails during the entire duration of your trip. Devour everything that is provided on this trip, including the following:

• Suit yourself with any non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks beverages during the cruise.
• Avail of unlimited alcoholic drinks in Sea Maui’s open bar.
• Have a validated parking space for 4 hours. 
• Enjoy heavy appetizers. 
• Tuesdays & Thursdays enjoy live music on board!

Departure and return details of the cruise

You can check in at the Sea Maui kiosk on the beach walk at Whalers Village, located between Leilani’s and Hula Grill, 30 minutes before departure time. You are given 4 hours of parking space for the parking structure at Whalers Village. 

After your sunset cocktail cruise, you will return to the original departure location. Your sunset dinner cruise will end right where it all started. 

Required clothes to wear and items to bring on Maui’s sunset dinner cruise

• You are expected to wear comfortable clothes.
• Bring preventative medicine or a kit if you are prone to motion sickness.
• Bringing of light jackets, cardigans, and sweaters is recommended as the temperature on the open water decreases at night.
• All alcoholic drinkers must bring a valid or government-issued photo ID. 
• Wearing sandals and flip tops are suggested for easy removal as all footwear will be collected and placed in a bin during the trip.

Cancellation Policy

• You will not get a refund for what you paid if you cancel the trip less than 24 hours prior to its starting time.
• All cut-off times are based on experience local time. 
• All changes made less than 24 hours prior to the trip will not be accepted.
• You are to receive a full refund of what you spend if you cancel at least 24 hours before your trip’s starting time. 

Restrictions

• The sunset cocktail cruise on Maui is not accessible for a wheelchair. 
• All children can join and enjoy the sunset cocktail cruise.
• Guests with mobility issues or people who have difficulty walking with assistance are not recommended to join the trip. As this is a beach-loading catamaran, walking a few steps is required to reach the dropdown staircase and get into the vessel.

• All guests must have a moderate physical fitness level.
• Sea Maui can accommodate a maximum of 48 guests. 
• All confirmation bookings will be received once booking is paid in full.
• Maui sunset cocktail cruise schedule is subject to cancellation or changes due to traffic and weather conditions. 
• Gratuity for crews is not included in what you paid during booking. 
• All crews of Sea Maui are lifeguards, and CPR certified.

What to Expect

Our Snorkel, Whale Watching, and Sunset adventures depart right from Ka’anapali Beach in front of Whaler’s Village. Green sea turtles, Hawaiian spinner dolphins, and humpback whales (seasonal) are regularly seen on daily adventures. Sit back, relax, and enjoy great company, food, and drinks while sailing through beautiful blue Hawaiian waters.

West Maui Half Day Snorkel Adventure

• Breakfast is Served, come hungry to enjoy a delicious breakfast served onboard to start the trip.
• The Captain will determine the best site to visit that day based upon current water conditions
• Masks and snorkels for all ages/sizes (Sea Maui does not provide prescription masks and/or masks to fit over glasses. Visit The Snorkel Store for rentals)

* Gemini loads and unloads our guests directly from the sand of Kaanapali Beach. Beach loading is perfectly safe and often time adds an element of fun and adventure to the tour! However, during days with rougher seas and high winds there is a chance you may get a little wet up to your knees. We recommend only wearing pants that you can roll up and avoiding long dresses and jeans when joining us for a sail! Our captains always ensure the sea and conditions are safe for beach loading and if there is any uncertainty we are forced to cancel the tour to ensure the safety of our guests. Lana’i Tai –  A Mai Tai done the Trilogy way – Mango Rum, Orgeat, Fresh lime, Elixir G ginger syrup, pineapple juice and a float of Potter’s Dark Rum.

Good Ol’ Fashioned – Redemption Bourbon, agave syrup, splash of water, Watkins bitters.

Lahaina Sunrise – Camarena Reposado Tequila, Ginger ale, POG juice, splash of Elixir G ginger syrup and lime.

808 Margarita – Camarena Reposado Tequila, agave syrup, pineapple juice and a dash of bitters.  (808 is the area code encompassing Hawaii.)

The dinner sail departs from slip #62 at Ma’alaea Harbor on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays . Slip #62 is located on the break-wall (ocean) side of the harbor.

The dinner sail departing from Lahaina Harbor is temporarily suspended due to the Lahaina Fires.

Parking is available within Ma’alaea Harbor for $1 per hr. Please pay via the digital parking kiosks (QR Code) for parking prior to checking in. Trilogy is not responsible for cars that are towed due to a parking error.
