May it never be said that Sea-Doo fails to keep us guessing. Shortly after Yamaha Motor Corp. USA unveiled a surprisingly bold push into the Rec Lite segment with its polypropylene-decked “Jet Blaster” series , Sea-Doo pulls back the curtain on its 2025 model line intimating an entirely different direction; albeit a very familiar one for Sea-Doo when observed with a bit of corporate-level perspective.

The big reveals for BRP’s Sea-Doo lineup were a re-dedication to sport fishing, both in the way of a newly re-themed Switch tritoon wholly outfitted for all-day fishing excursions and a tippy-top-of-the-line Sea-Doo Fish Pro Apex. Yes, there’s now a fishing Sea-Doo even more equipped than the Trophy… if you even thought that was possible.

Not far behind is a much appreciated “plussing” of Sea-Doo’s most luxurious runabout, the GTX Limited. Now equipped with both the wild 325-horsepower 1630 ACE introduced last year exclusively to the X-models as well as the hydraulically-damped steering system and a gorgeous 10.25-inch wide LCD touchscreen dashboard.

Apart from the above, Sea-Doo kept the remainder of the 2025 lineup surprisingly mild – so mild that this year’s “premier color” for several of the models is beige. While that might not sounds terribly exciting, they say taupe is very soothing . All kidding aside, for the X-models it’s a deep cut throwback to the 2005 RXT and RXP 215.

Pumping in some excitement into the Switch line is the new Switch Fish variants. Available as either a 170-horsepower or 230-horsepower 18- or 21-footer, the Fish models (starting at $44,299 MSRP) come fitted all the way up to the Bimini top with enough features to fill a Bass Pro Shop:

Two Garmin 9-inch Fish Finders (one at the cockpit and the other mounted to the bow); a bow-mounted Garmin Kraken trolling motor, two swiveling pedestal seats, a Linq-attached 68-liter cooler that doubles as a live well with its integrated wash-down hose, and a quick-access rod storage holder with four spots.

Of course, like all other Switch models, you can custom configure your Switch Fish to accommodate just yourself or the whole family with a variety of optional seating, tables, storage cubbies and more. Sea-Doo’s Parts & Accessories Department has more quick-attaching features and furniture than you can possibly imagine.

Now, if you’re still trying to keep your fishing addiction down to somewhat reasonable level, maybe Sea-Doo’s newest entry to its fishing lineup, the Fish Pro Apex will satiate your thirst ($24,499 MSRP). The Apex takes everything that the Trophy’s got and nearly everything from the Explorer Pro and tosses in the RXP-X’s hydraulically-assisted steering aaand the 300-horsepower 1630 ACE engine. ‘Cause y’know, fishing…

Yes, you’re getting the standard Fish Pro’s gunwale foot wedges, the extra-bolstered bench seat, the 9-inch Garmin Fish Finder and chart-plotter. You’re also getting the Trophy’s collapsible swiveling pedestal-mounted seat, massive live well LinQ cooler with its innovative electric pump, side-mounted anchor and full color 7.8-inch display.

But you’re also getting the Explorer Pro’s hard-mounted bow railing, collapsible windscreen, center storage organizer, BRP’s Premium Audio system, iDF (intelligent debris-free system), and extending steering column. And as mentioned, the Apex is the only Fish Pro equipped with a supercharged 3-cylinder four-stroke pumping out 300-ponies.

Fans of the Explorer Pro will be grateful to know that it enters into 2025 completely unchanged; well, only the prices of the Explorer Pro 170 ($19,399) and 230 ($20,399) have changed. Equally, the remainder of the Fish Pro lineup stay as-is from last year with the Scout ($15,299), the Sport ($17,599) and the Trophy ($20,699).

For Sea-Doo’s more active enthusiasts, the Wake Pro 230 ($18,599) and Wake 170 ($14,299) introduces the new Sand and Dazzling Blue colorway, also found on the 2025 Spark Trixx models. Whether you’re looking at a single-seater Trixx ($9,199) or a 3-seater Trixx ($9,799), you can opt for Sand & Dazzling Blue or last year’s Dragon Red & White.

For those looking for a standard Spark, the 2-up model ($6,999) or the 3-up unit ($8,299) are both available in Vapor Blue & Dazzling Blue or Sunrise Orange & Dragon Red. Unlike the GTI 130 ($11,699) which carries over last year’s livery, the two variants of the GTI SE – be it the 130 ($12,499) or the 170 ($13,099) – share the same fetching Midnight Purple hue.

As teased earlier, Sea-Doo severely toned down the look of the RXP-X 325 ($19,499) and RXT-X 325 ($20,599) by reaching deep into its history and pulling out a 20-year-old Metallic Tan & Lava Red premium coloration very reminiscent of the 2005 RXP and RXT 215. Although the RXP-X 325 goes unaltered, the RXT-X 325 gets the long overdue hydraulic-damped steering system.

The savvy observer will note that the premier ST3-based Sea-Doos (the RXT-X 325, GTX Limited 325, Fish Pro Apex 300 and Explorer Pro 230) all received this assisted steering device. This indicates Sea-Doo’s acknowledgement of the ungainly characteristics of this hull and the damper’s ability to soften its tendency to wander in chop.

Performance division siblings, the GTR 230 ($14,299) and absolutely riotous GTR-X 300 ($17,299) enter the new model year unchanged, equal to the standard GTX models: the GTX 170 ($15,399), GTX 230 ($16,399) and GTX 300 ($18,099) all share the same Gulfstream Blue & Blue Abyss livery, making them nearly indistinguishable save for the horsepower call-outs on the top deck.

Lastly and certainly not the least of the Sea-Doo lineup is the newly re-equipped GTX Limited 325 ($21,999). Slathered in either Teal Metallic or last year’s premium White Pearl colorings, the GTX Limited receives all-new LinQ drop-in cleats (also equipped on the Fish Pro Apex), the blisteringly-fast 325-horsepower 1630 ACE and an all new dashboard.

The giant 10.25-inch touchscreen display offers a GPS-directed compass, driving data, marine navigation (when paired with the BRP GO! app) and a bunch more. Equally, the Limited includes BRP’s 100W waterproof, Bluetooth-integrated Premium Audio system. It’s also the only 325-horsepower Sea-Doo equipped with iDF.

With a renewed focus on sport fishing, luxury and the higher-end buyer, it’s pretty obvious to see that Sea-Doo is edging its full-sized runabouts towards an exclusive clientele. It’s a bold strategy for sure, so it’ll be interesting to see pays off for them considering the fiscal bifurcation in the marketplace currently.

Powersports sales have taken a considerable hit in the past 18-to-24 months and we’re seeing new buying behaviors from some pretty distinct groups. The Explorer Pro proved as much a winner as the Fish Pro and its many variants, and it seems top tier buyers are clamoring for as many features and accessories as Sea-Doo can dish out.

Sea-Doo is casting its line into the deep end of the lake with the new FishPro Apex personal watercraft (PWC) and Switch Fish pontoon as the brand broadens its lineup in the fishing space and helps customers find their water. Alumacraft Trophy and Competitor models redefine boating by leveraging their 75+ year history to deliver innovations and a customizable layout that ensures a comfortable and versatile day on the water.

Taking PWC fishing to the next level

The FishPro Apex with its exclusive design, unique coloration and limited one year production run represents the pinnacle of Sea-Doo’s fishing lineup of PWCs. Equipped with all the features that has made the FishPro Trophy one of the best fishing PWC on the water, the FishPro Apex raises the bar once again by continuing the innovation that Sea-Doo has come to be known for with new features found throughout. As a tournament-worthy vehicle, getting to the hot fishing spot first is important, so the FishPro Apex is powered by a 300 hp Rotax 1630 ACE Engine allowing anglers to get there in a hurry. A tall touring windshield, hydraulic steering damper and adjustable handlebar riser help the rider find the ideal riding position so they can be comfortable as they blast along the lake to the next spot.

Once at the spot, it's all about catching fish as efficiently and comfortably as possible. The Sea-Doo FishPro Apex is equipped with tournament-worthy features, like a 9-inch Garmin fish finder GPS with a picture-window view below the surface, chart plotting, ride tracking and more compatible apps to help find the fish. A modular swivel seat makes fishing easier and the LinQ cooler with integrated livewell and washdown keep the fish or bait alive and rinse the PWC clean. In addition, an intelligent debris free (iDF) pump system allows riders to get as close to the action as possible and clear a clogged intake with just the push of a button should the rider get a little too into the weeds. The FishPro Apex comes standard with seven rod holders capable of standing up to rough conditions and high speeds to keep the tools of the trade secure and within arms reach so they’re easy to grab as soon as the first fish are seen on the Garmin. A rear deck extension adds stability and 4 LinQ attachment points allow riders to carry more tackle, equipment, or fuel for the day’s adventures.

Finally docking and beaching with the FishPro Apex has been made even easier and safer with pop-up cleats that safely store out of the way when not in use and a heavy-duty grab handle along the front of the PWC.

Sea-Doo’s award-winning Switch family of pontoon boats continues to offer one of the most accessible, adaptive and fun boating experiences to be found on the water today and it’s about to get even more exciting as the family searches the lake for the biggest fish to catch aboard the new Sea-Doo Switch Fish . Available in 18- and 21-foot lengths, both Switch Fish models are driven by the Rotax 1630 ACE – 230 hp engine (18’ also available with 170 hp) making the ride to their favorite fishing spot almost as fun as the catching.

Switch Fish comes outfitted with all the features necessary to show friends and family an amazing time on the water catching trophy caliber fish. The Sea-Doo Switch Fish offers every imaginable advantage with two Garmin fish finders providing a window below the surface from both the bow and console of the pontoon. Additionally, a fully integrated from factory bow-mounted Garmin Force Kraken trolling motor featuring anchor lock helps maintain a specific spot on the water with pinpoint accuracy to make sure to stay right where the fish are biting. Once the fish have been found, it’s time to grab the fishing rods and start casting from the fishing pedestal seats while other members of the family can kick back, relax and stay cool in the shade from the bimini top. An included quick-attach 68L LinQ cooler and livewell are ready to hold the day's catch while the integrated washdown system keeps the pontoon as clean as possible.

Storage is essential on a fishing boat and the Switch Fish has a dedicated locking storage space to keep tackle and other valuables safe. A separate quick-access rod storage compartment provides an easy and safe solution to store up to 4 rods. The included LinQ Lite rod holders keep the tools of the trade always at the ready while enhancing convenience by instantly mounting on nearly any rail location. Patented LinQ accessory attachment points on the rear deck swim platform also offer a variety of configurations to make sure there is enough space for fuel, snacks or gear should there be a need.

Front and rear corner doors provide easy access to the Switch Fish on the dock and the water. Carpet is used by the front doors as well as on the rear swim platform to increase overall comfort. Bombardier introduced the very first personal watercraft in 1968, a twist on their Ski-Doo snowmobile line dubbed the Sea-Doo. Over 50 years later, the Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) Sea-Doo brand is known for a stylish, broadly focused mix of models aimed at a variety of riders. These include the recreationally-minded Spark and GTI; performance-focused GTR, RXT-X and RXP-X; watersports-ready Wake series; fishing-specific FishPro lineup; and adventure-oriented Explorer Pro. In 2022, Sea-Doo expanded outside the PWC market with the introduction of the innovative Switch pontoon boat series . The unique craft, featuring a configurable floorplan, was named the 2022 Boating Magazine Boat of the Year . All Sea-Doo models are powered by jet propulsion engines from BRP-subsidiary Rotax Marine.

Sea-Doo currently produces 15 models of personal watercraft and three styles of pontoon boats , all powered by Rotax four-stroke engines. PWC are divided between Rec Lite, Recreation, Touring, Performance, Tow Sports, Sportfishing and Adventure categories. In sizes ranging from 9’-12 and featuring 60 – 300 horsepower, they’re well suited to a variety of recreational activities, including cruising, watersports and fishing. Switch pontoons are available in lengths from 13’-21’, Rotax engines from 130 – 230 hp and three levels of trim, Base, Cruise and Sport.

Types of Sea-Doo Boats

Sea-Doo builds a diverse fleet of both personal watercraft and pontoon boats . Personal watercraft include models designed for overall recreation, touring, performance, watersports, fishing and adventure riding. • Based around the Spark platform, the Spark and Spark Trixx are available in both two and three-passenger capacities .
• Both hull and deck are made from PolyTec , a lightweight, proprietary composite that allows Sea-Doo to use lower horsepower engines and achieve recreational-level performance.
• Already a playful design, the Spark Trixx adds a freestyle flair thanks to its extended-range trim which makes possible tricks like wheelies and spinouts.
• A collection of three versatile models based on the 130.6” GTI hull, the three-passenger GTI, GTI SE 130 and GTI SE 170 combine a stable, fun ride with a hull that can venture into larger bodies of water and carry more gear .
• The GTI and GTI SE 130 are powered by a 130hp version of the Rotax 1630 ACE engine ; the GTI SE 170 uses a 170hp version of the same.
• All feature Sea-Doo’s innovative Intelligent Brake & Reverse System, deep swim platforms with pop-up mounts for accessories like coolers and fuel caddies, and riding modes that tailor power delivery.
• Ideal for recreational cruising, watersports, and casual fishing .
• Touring models, including the GTX 170, GTX 230, GTX 300 and GTX Limited are based on Sea-Doo’s flagship GTX platform .
• An 11’ 4” long, deep-V hull design, it offers exceptional stability both at rest and underway , as well as abundant storage potential.
• The design’s deep-V hull can also handle the toughest water conditions .
• The GTX 170 is powered by a naturally aspirated version of the Rotax 1630 ACE engine producing 170 hp.
• The GTX 230, 300 and Limited add a supercharger’s performance boost to produce their respective 230 and 300 horsepower.
• Common features include electronic brake and reverse , deep swim platforms with pop-up accessory mounts, riding modes that tailor power delivery and power trim.
• The Limited model adds extras including Bluetooth audio, oversized LCD display, and custom cover.
• Ideal for cruising, touring, watersports, performance riding and casual fishing .
• High-performance craft designed for the most aggressive riders , Performance models include the 230hp GTR 230 , 300hp RXT-X and 300hp RXP-X .
• Each model is based off a unique hull platform and places an emphasis on acceleration, speed and aggressive handling .
• GTR and RXT models can carry up to three passengers ; the RXP-X is designed as a solo machine but a saddle accessory can be added to carry one passenger.
• Features include performance-minded ergonomics and sponsors to increase turning performance and enhance high-speed control.
• All feature electronic brake and reverse , deep swim platforms with pop-up accessory mounts, and adjustable riding modes to tailor power delivery and power trim.
• Ideal for high-performance riding, racing, and recreational cruising .
• The Wake and Wake Pro introduce tow-sport-specific extras including retractable tow pylons, removable gunwale-mount board racks and electronic speed control.
• The Wake is based on the GTI platform and features a naturally aspirated 170hp Rotax engine .
• The Wake Pro is based off the flagship GTX platform and is powered by a supercharged 230hp version of that same engine.
• Both models feature three-passenger capacities and deep swim platforms that make it easy to gear up for a ride , as well as add gear via pop-up cleats.
• Common features include electronic brake and reverse.
• The Pro model adds Bluetooth audio and a push-button pump cleaning system to clear debris.
• Ideal for skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, and recreational cruising .
• Designed for the more serious angler, the FishPro line features three models , the FishPro Scout, FishPro Sport and FishPro Trophy.
• All feature fish-ready coolers, rod holders, cutting boards, tackle and bait storage, GPS Fishfinders, trolling-oriented speed control settings and an electronic pump cleaning system to clear the pump of weeds and debris.
• The FishPro Trophy adds an elevated fishing seat, rear-deck extension, the ability to use the cooler as a livewell, an advanced battery system, anchoring system and Bluetooth audio.
• The FishPro Scout is based off the GTI platform and powered by a 130hp Rotax engine.
• FishPro Sport and Trophy are based off the GTX platform and powered by 170hp versions.
• Ideal for recreational to hardcore fishing, inshore or offshore and  recreational cruising .
• A single model based off the deep-V GTX platform and featuring a naturally aspirated 170hp engine, the Explorer Pro 170 is aimed at long-distance, touring riders as well as those who ride in cooler or inclement weather conditions .
• Unique features include a touring-style windshield , GPS Fishfinder , and extended deck with multiple pop-up mounts to accommodate coolers, gear bags, storage boxes or fuel caddies to extend the craft’s range.
• Ideal for long-distance cruising, camping/overnighting, exploring, extended-season riding and fishing .
• A twist on the conventional aluminum pontoon platform, Switch models feature a tri-hull design with a PWC-like central hull .
• Available in 13’, 18’ and 21’ lengths and base, Sport and Cruise trim levels , boats include several unique features, including clear side panels for added visibility and a PWC’s handlebar/throttle/reverse combo.

Sea-Doo currently produces an extensive line of personal watercraft models, with models focused on recreational riding, touring, performance riding and racing, tow sports, fishing and adventure.

Sea-Doo is headquartered in Valcourt, Quebec, Canada. The company currently produces Sea-Doo personal watercraft models in Mexico and Switch pontoons in Wisconsin. BRP’s Rotax engines are produced in Austria.

All Sea-Doo models , whether personal watercraft or pontoon, use four-stroke engines produced by BRP’s Rotax subsidiary in Austria. Recreational engines (60-210hp) are naturally aspirated. High-performance engines (260 – 300hp) are supercharged to deliver maximum performance.

Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) warrants Sea-Doo models sold by authorized BRP dealers in the U.S. and Canada from defects in material or workmanship for 12 consecutive months from the date of delivery to the first retail customer or the date the craft is put into use, whichever comes first. The limited warranty is automatically transferred to a new owner if the craft is sold during the warranty period.

Both Sea-Doo personal watercraft and Sea-Doo pontoon boats are easily maintained. Basic owner maintenance, including washing and applying wax or protectant to exterior body surfaces and hull, flushing the engine (especially after use in saltwater), keeping engine compartments clean and dry, and cleaning and using protectant on vinyl surfaces will keep a Sea-Doo looking like new for years to come. Following the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule, including oil and filter changes ,will ensure reliable, safe operation as well as increase longevity. Dealer maintenance and/or service can be performed at any of Sea-Doo’s worldwide dealer network.

Any three-passenger Sea-Doo personal watercraft and all Switch pontoon boats can be used to tow watersports riders as long as there is both a driver and designated spotter on board. All models feature tow hooks or tow pylons at the stern to secure towropes. Most personal watercraft models also feature handholds for a rear-facing spotter.

Wake models (Wake and Wake Pro) are specifically designed with watersports in mind . Both models include removable, retractable tow pylons, Ski Mode speed control with user-selected acceleration profiles and top speeds, and removable board racks that store boards to the outside of the craft and keep footwells free of clutter.

Though jet propulsion avoids a propeller in close proximity to a surf rider, riding any towable close to the stern of a Sea-Doo PWC or pontoon should be avoided as the powerful thrust exiting the jet pump can cause injury. Like skiing and wakeboarding, riding a wake-surf board is possible using a towrope if riders stay beyond the thrust zone.

Any Sea-Doo model , personal watercraft or pontoon, can be used for casual, recreational fishing.

Sportfishing models , including the FishPro Scout, FishPro Sport and FishPro Trophy include fishing-specific features including GPS fishfinders, coolers/livewells, rod holders, cutting boards/bait prep areas, and elevated fishing chairs .

(TSX: DOO) (NASDAQ: DOOO), continue to innovate and strengthen their focus in the fishing space with new 2025 Sea-Doo models and the redesigned Alumacraft models. Sea-Doo is casting its line into the deep end of the lake with the new FishPro Apex personal watercraft (PWC) and Switch Fish pontoon as the brand broadens its lineup in the fishing space and helps customers find their water. Alumacraft Trophy and Competitor models redefine boating by leveraging their 75+ year history to deliver innovations and a customizable layout that ensures a comfortable and versatile day on the water.

Taking PWC fishing to the next level

The FishPro Apex with its exclusive design, unique coloration and limited one year production run represents the pinnacle of Sea-Doo's fishing lineup of PWCs. Equipped with all the features that has made the FishPro Trophy one of the best fishing PWC on the water, the FishPro Apex raises the bar once again by continuing the innovation that Sea-Doo has come to be known for with new features found throughout. As a tournament-worthy vehicle, getting to the hot fishing spot first is important, so the FishPro Apex is powered by a 300 hp Rotax 1630 ACE Engine allowing anglers to get there in a hurry. A tall touring windshield, hydraulic steering damper and adjustable handlebar riser help the rider find the ideal riding position so they can be comfortable as they blast along the lake to the next spot.

Once at the spot, it's all about catching fish as efficiently and comfortably as possible. The Sea-Doo FishPro Apex is equipped with tournament-worthy features, like a 9-inch Garmin fish finder GPS with a picture-window view below the surface, chart plotting, ride tracking and more compatible apps to help find the fish. A modular swivel seat makes fishing easier and the LinQ cooler with integrated livewell and washdown keep the fish or bait alive and rinse the PWC clean. In addition, an intelligent debris free (iDF) pump system allows riders to get as close to the action as possible and clear a clogged intake with just the push of a button should the rider get a little too into the weeds. The FishPro Apex comes standard with seven rod holders capable of standing up to rough conditions and high speeds to keep the tools of the trade secure and within arms reach so they're easy to grab as soon as the first fish are seen on the Garmin. A rear deck extension adds stability and 4 LinQ attachment points allow riders to carry more tackle, equipment, or fuel for the day's adventures.

Finally docking and beaching with the FishPro Apex has been made even easier and safer with pop-up cleats that safely store out of the way when not in use and a heavy-duty grab handle along the front of the PWC.

Fishing fun family style

Sea-Doo's award-winning Switch family of pontoon boats continues to offer one of the most accessible, adaptive and fun boating experiences to be found on the water today and it's about to get even more exciting as the family searches the lake for the biggest fish to catch aboard the new Sea-Doo Switch Fish . Available in 18- and 21-foot lengths, both Switch Fish models are driven by the Rotax 1630 ACE – 230 hp engine (18' also available with 170 hp) making the ride to their favorite fishing spot almost as fun as the catching.

Switch Fish comes outfitted with all the features necessary to show friends and family an amazing time on the water catching trophy caliber fish. The Sea-Doo Switch Fish offers every imaginable advantage with two Garmin fish finders providing a window below the surface from both the bow and console of the pontoon. Additionally, a fully integrated from factory bow-mounted Garmin Force Kraken trolling motor featuring anchor lock helps maintain a specific spot on the water with pinpoint accuracy to make sure to stay right where the fish are biting. Once the fish have been found, it's time to grab the fishing rods and start casting from the fishing pedestal seats while other members of the family can kick back, relax and stay cool in the shade from the bimini top. An included quick-attach 68L LinQ cooler and livewell are ready to hold the day's catch while the integrated washdown system keeps the pontoon as clean as possible.

Storage is essential on a fishing boat and the Switch Fish has a dedicated locking storage space to keep tackle and other valuables safe. A separate quick-access rod storage compartment provides an easy and safe solution to store up to 4 rods. The included LinQ Lite rod holders keep the tools of the trade always at the ready while enhancing convenience by instantly mounting on nearly any rail location. Patented LinQ accessory attachment points on the rear deck swim platform also offer a variety of configurations to make sure there is enough space for fuel, snacks or gear should there be a need.

Front and rear corner doors provide easy access to the Switch Fish on the dock and the water. Carpet is used by the front doors as well as on the rear swim platform to increase overall comfort.
