The main deck master cabin is equipped with a king-size bed, study and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. There is a VIP stateroom with a queen bed, two queen staterooms, and one twin stateroom on the lower deck — all of the stateroom feature en-suite bathrooms and TVs with DVD players. The crew of seven on board will ensure the very best charter experience.

Built for Performance

INDIGO STAR I is the perfect size for adventure, as her navigable length and draft afford her access to the most remote coves and bays. She is powered by twin MTU 2,285hp diesel engines, providing a top speed of 16 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 14 knots. Her Zero Speed stabilizers ensure the best comfort for guests on board, reducing roll motion at anchor and underway.

The 38m Indigo Star I is a tri-deck motor yacht boasting a stylish and carefully considered interior design. Built by Siar & Moschini in 1995, the yacht is in fantastic condition following an extensive 2018 refit.

Charter — INDIGO STAR I

The interior of Indigo Star I optimises the use of space to provide multiple seating and lounge areas. In the main saloon there are two deep-cushioned L-shaped sofas, a coffee table with armchairs to the port side and a glass-topped dining table. The main saloon is also equipped with a large flat-screen TV, surround sound and an extensive movie library.

Indigo Star I has a second, less formal, lounge on her bridge deck and this enjoys direct access to an aft dining area via full height glass doors.

There is accommodation for 10 guests in five suites, with the cabin configuration comprising a master stateroom, VIP, two guest doubles and one twin. The master suite is located on the main deck and benefits from an owner’s study as well as a spacious en suite with a spa bath. All of the accommodation is en suite, with the VIP also able to boast a bathtub, and each cabin is fitted with Satellite TV.

The interior cabinetry, in deep mahogany, has a high gloss finish and upholstery in neutral tones with dark charcoal accents gives the yacht a striking style.

Indigo Star I’s deck spaces are geared towards socialising. There is a large exterior lounge and dining table for 10 on the upper deck, which can be shaded by a retractable awning, and an expanse of cushioned sun pads on the sun deck.

Indigo Star I has a Zodiac RIB tender and a wide selection of water toys, including three SeaBobs, a jet ski, fly board, Aqualung diving sets, water skis for both adults and children and even a seven-metre-high, 12-metre-long, inflatable water slide. A large swim platform to aft and a boarding ladder ensure easy access to and from the water.

An additional Sillinger 9m chase boat can be chartered on request.

Indigo Star I is an extremely capable and seaworthy vessel, with a top speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. Stabilisers ensure maximum comfort when underway and at anchor.

Indigo Star I is run by a crew of seven.

As a graduate from the Marine High School and Maritime University in Zadar, Croatia, Ivan started his ocean-based career in 2009 as 3rd officer on board 68m passenger ship M/V Melita. He spent the following two summer seasons as chief officer on board busy 46m charter yacht M/Y Princess Iolanthe. This was followed by an appointment as chief officer on board the privately owned 35m M/Y Stella and as chief officer and relief captain for 28m M/Y Bravo II and 50m M/Y Ventura; all with the same owner. Afterwards, Ivan was captain on board the commercial 38m M/V Shearwater, before then joining the owner of INDIGO STAR I and his family for their 2.5-year trip around the world. Die bekannte Luxus-Yacht der Geissens „Indigo Star“ ist oft bei ihrer Sendung im TV zu sehen. Doch nun stellt sich heraus, dass das Boot gar nicht der Familie selbst gehört.

Wer regelmäßig RTLZWEI schaut, wird diese Familie garantiert kennen. Die Geissens sind schrecklich glamourös – und auch schrecklich reich. Ihren Reichtum stellen sie gerne bei „Die Geissens – Eine schrecklich glamouröse Familie“ zur Schau und nehmen die Zuschauer mit auf ihre Reisen durch die Welt. Die Familie besteht aus Vater Robert, Mutter Carmen und den beiden Töchtern Davina und Shania. Auch die Yacht der Familie ist in vielen Folgen zu sehen und gilt schon als das „Wohnzimmer“ der Familie. Doch das Prunk-Schiff gehört ihnen gar nicht.

Luxus-Yacht gehört nicht den Geissens: Der Reichtum der Familie

Wer die Geissens kennt, weiß auch ganz genau, dass die Familie gerne mal mit ihrem Prunk prahlt. Dabei sollte man auch wissen, dass Vater Robert ein echter Self-Made-Millionär ist, da er bereits in den 80er Jahren zusammen mit seinem Bruder sein eigenes Mode-Label eröffnet hat, welches er neun Jahre später wieder verkaufte. Aber auch Carmen und die Töchter Davina und Shania bringen Kohle nach Hause – so sind die Geissens reich geworden .

Aucht gibt Papa Robert Geiss in einem Podcast des OMR preis: „Die 100 Millionen habe ich voll. Das ist die Rente, das ist die Basis, damit ich auch mit 70 noch ruhig leben kann.“ Tatsächlich ist, laut dem Wirtschaftsmagazin Business Insider , über die Zeit bei den Geissens ein Firmenimperium entstanden. Laut dem Magazin stecken die Geissens aber auch in Schulden in Millionenhöhe und auch die Yacht „Indigo Star“ scheint nicht der Familie selbst zu gehören. Ist alles also mehr Schein als Sein?

Luxus-Yacht gehört nicht den Geissens: Business Insider enthüllt Schuldenlage

Ein Bericht von Business Insider hat enthüllt, dass mehrere Firmen, an denen die Geissens beteiligt ist, in den Jahren 2019 und 2020 keinen Gewinn oder sogar Verluste gemacht haben, wodurch Schulden in Millionenhöhe entstanden. Dabei seien die Familie Geiss und ihr Privatvermögen aber nicht von einer Pleite bedroht. Robert Geiss gilt als cleverer Geschäftsmann, der in verschiedene Firmen investiert. Darunter auch in die CapBridge Ventures GmbH, die sich als Fehlinvestition herausstellte.

Die Frage, ob die Geissens doch nicht so reich sind, wie sie sich in ihrer RTLZWEI -Sendung geben, stellt sich nun. Insbesondere da nun enthüllt wurde, dass die Luxus-Yacht „Indigo Star“, die auch immer mal ein Hauptdarsteller der Show ist, gar nicht der Familie selbst gehört. Doch wem gehört das Prunk-Schiff?

Das 38 Meter-Boot kann bis zu 10 Gäste beherbergen und auch von Privatpersonen (Tagespreis rund 15.000 Euro) gebucht werden. Auf der Yacht ist ein fetter Werbe-Aufdruck von „Roberto Geissini“, der Modemarke von Rooobert. Auf der Homepage heißt es zum Fashion-Label: „Roberto Geissini ist ein exklusives Fashion-Label vom Besitzer der Indigo Star I: Robert Geiss.“

Wobei das Wort „Besitzer“ hier offenbar stark interpretierbar ist. Denn nach BILD -Informationen ist die Luxus-Yacht im Besitz der Ghost Shipping Company S.A. Der Firmensitz des Unternehmens liegt auf der Isle of Man, ein Steuerparadies zwischen Irland und dem Vereinigten Königreich. Robert Geiss besitzt Anteile an der Firma, doch wie hoch diese Anteile sind, ist unklar. (rah)

A General Description of Motor Yacht OLSTEN

Timmerman Yachts completed the building motor yacht OLSTEN in 2004. Accordingly, she has the distinction of being built country of Russia. OLSTEN is a yacht which had design completed by Moscow Shipyard and Moscow Shipyard. This superyacht OLSTEN is able to accommodate a maximum of 12 passengers all told aboard together with around 6 professional crew. Finished and launched in 2004 the comparatively recent interior design and decor demonstrates the proficiency which are originating from Moscow Shipyard and the owner who commissioned the yacht.

Building & Designing relating to Luxury Yacht OLSTEN

Moscow Shipyard was the naval architect firm involved in the professional vessel composition for OLSTEN. Also the company Moscow Shipyard successfully worked on this undertaking. Interior designer Moscow Shipyard was commissioned for the internal interior styling. Russia is the country that Timmerman Yachts built their new build motor yacht in. After her formal launch in 2004 in Moscow the boat was then handed over to the owner after final finishing. Her hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made predominantly from aluminium. With a width of 6.8 m or 22.31 feet OLSTEN has moderate internal space. A fairly shallow draught of 1.7m (5.56ft) affects the number of harbours she can berth in, taking into account their particular depth.

Engineering And The Speed The M/Y OLSTEN Can Reach:

The 3406E engine installed in the motor yacht is produced by CATERPILLAR. Connected to her Caterpillar engine(s) are twin screw propellers. The engine of the yacht creates 600 horse power (or 442 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The total thrust for the yacht is accordingly 1200 HP or 884 KW.

On board Superyacht OLSTEN There is Passenger Accommodation Capacity For:

Providing room for a limit of 12 visiting passengers spending the night, the OLSTEN accommodates them in luxury. She also has room for circa 6 expert crew members to operate.
