Kristian Røkke: Aksjefall «ikke en årsak» for Aker Horizons-avgangen

Styreleder Øyvind Eriksen sier Røkke hadde signalisert at han var «åpen for en avløsning».

Tirsdag ble det kjent at Kristian Røkke går av som Aker Horizons-sjef , og blir styreleder.

Inn som toppsjef kommer tidligere Norske Skog-topp Lars Sperre fra 1. oktober.

Aker Horizons har hatt det tungt på Oslo Børs de siste årene, som flere andre fornybarselskaper. Bare siden nyttår er aksjen ned mer enn 40 prosent.

Kristian Røkke avviser at aksjefallet det siste halvåret har noe med avgangen å gjøre.

– Nei, det er ikke en årsak, svarer han i en e-post til E24 via selskapets pressekontakt.

Er «work-life balance» egentlig mulig?

– Hvorfor går du av som toppsjef i Aker Horizons?

– Jeg ønsker å fortsette å jobbe med de mulighetene som finnes innen dekarbonisering, men fremover i en annen rolle, svarer Røkke.

– Åpen for avløsning

Aker-sjef Øyvind Eriksen er dagens styreleder i Aker Horizons. Han vil bli foreslått som ny visestyreleder.

– Kristian signaliserte før sommeren at han på et tidspunkt ville være åpen for en avløsning fra det operative ansvaret og den daglige driften. Gjennom nettverket til Christian Rynning-Tønnesen, som leder vårt ICP Infrastructur, kom vi i kontakt med Lars Sperre. Et utvidet styre med Kristian på laget, vil sikre kontinuitet i det videre arbeidet, sier Eriksen om sjefsbyttet i en e-post.

Eriksen har tidligere uttalt at Aker er skuffet over kursutviklingen i Aker Horizons.

Aker Horizons er det grønne investeringsselskapet i Kjell Inge Røkkes Aker-gruppe. Aker Capital har en eierandel på over 67 prosent.

Fornybarselskapet har blant annet satset på karbonfangst gjennom Aker Carbon Capture, og sol- og vindprosjekter gjennom Mainstream. Selskapet har også hydrogen- og ammoniakksatsinger i Norge.

– Riktig endring i lagoppstillingen

– Aker Horizons gjennomfører en rask og riktig endring i lagoppstillingen. Muligheten fremover er at det underliggende markedet for investeringer i fornybar energi er betydelig, sier Øyvind Eriksen videre.

Lars Sperre har tidligere hatt flere toppstillinger i Norske Skog. Han var blant annet toppsjef da papirprodusenten gikk over ende og  ledet ryddejobben i etterkant .

– Hvilke erfaringer fra Norske Skog tar du meg deg inn i Aker Horizons-jobben?

– Betydelig erfaring fra industriutvikling, realisering av prosjekter innen fornybar energi og det grønne skiftet. Videre så vil nok erfaringen fra det omfattende kapitalmarkedsarbeidet vi har gjort i Norske Skog komme til nytte, svarer den påtroppende sjefen i e-posten.
