Built by US shipyard Trinity Yachts in 2008, the Owners of M/Y STAY SALTY  (ex Hunter, Mustang Sally, Destination Fox Harb’r Too)  made sure she was also looking her best and received a refit just before filming began in August 2015. The gorgeous interiors combine past and present trends, and the facilities are just as comprehensive, catering to a wide variety of guests.

The Interiors

The interiors from Patrick Knowles were inspired by European spa resorts and are designed to appeal for a variety of charter purposes. As such, they offer laid back elegance that merges traditional and contemporary appeal by using Lacewood, Redwood burl and Honduran mahogany accented with satin nickel. A sharp eye will notice all the neo-classical touches throughout, from the mirror surrounds to the balustrades and the lighting fixtures.

When it comes to entertainment both the main salon and skylounge can host a fantastic soiree: There is a wet bar on both decks and the main salon has a 42″ widescreen TV with surround sound, while the skylounge has a 62″ widescreen TV along with a game table and a library. Of course, the main salon also comes with the 12-seater formal dining area.

A pair of engines gives a faster-than-average cruising speed of 16 knots and a top speed of 20 knots, letting guests make excellent time between destinations for a yacht of this size and volume.

The Exteriors

The raked bow and champagne-coloured hull give superyacht hunter a sleek modern look that will impress from afar and when additional visitors come on board for dockside events. Cocktails can be ready and waiting on the large swim platform, which is perfect for lazy days beside the turquoise waters of the Caribbean & Bahamas luxury yacht charter grounds.

Spacious aft deck are ideal for entertainment and socialising

Spacious aft deck are ideal for entertainment and socialising

The main deck aft is a casual outdoor environment where the group can discuss their morning around the coffee table while the professional crew creates refreshments at the indoor/outdoor wet bar.

When it comes to dining alfresco, the upper deck aft has a close atmosphere between guests thanks to the round table design, and strong lighting ensures that the area can be used even after sundown – ideal for meals at sunset followed by fireworks, or a film or sports on the widescreen TV. The group can savour a top-quality meal prepared by the expert onboard chef, who will cater to all the dietary requirements within the group. Couples looking for a bit more privacy can head forward to the loveseat on the Portuguese deck, where there’s also a table for meals together or a nightcap.

Once charter guests have explored their beautiful destination, most head to the sundeck for a dip into the forward Jacuzzi or rest on the sunpads until a lunch prepared on the barbeque grill is served in the shade. Just like the main deck and upper deck, the sundeck has a wet bar for fast and efficient service.

The Accommodation

The generous accommodation is a tranquil sanctum that accommodates up to 12 guests across 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 3 VIP staterooms and 1 twin cabin with a Pullman berth ideal for children.

Upon entering the main deck Master suite there is a queen-sized sleeper sofa and en-suite bathroom enclosed in its own space. This can be used as an alternative cabin to the selection on the lower deck, or as a private lounge. The main Master bedroom farther forward boasts a king-sized bed with a widescreen TV opposite, plus plenty of seating and wardrobe space for guests who have a packed social calendar and a different gown or suit for each occasion. The en-suites have a ‘get-up-and-go’ setup in the one bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower, while the second bathroom invites guests to a long soak in the spa bathtub, as well as offering all the amenities of the first.

For a yacht like Thalassa or Keri Lee III, these costs could include crew salaries, ongoing maintenance, fuel, food, and insurance expenses. Please note that specific operational costs for Thalassa or Keri Lee III are not publicly available, and this is a general estimation based on industry standards.

The Eros has high-end pleasures like an on-deck jacuzzi and a gym. Like previous years, Below Deck representatives changed the name of the actual yacht for the show.

Great crew, Outstanding yacht.

Though I’ve thought all the Yachts were nice, I’d have to say the EROS is probably a favorite. The layout is so much different than the others.

I was thinking how amazingly fun it would be to work on this yacht….then I thought HELL NO!!! I want to be a pampered guest on that boat, surrounded by an amazing and super fun crew!!! It would be a once in a lifetime trip!!!! I would love my whole family (which is very small) to join me for pure rest & relaxation and tons of fun; with no worries at all… But DAAA’UUUMMM……it is so dang freaking expensive to rent this yacht for a week. I am not that wealthy, so it’s unlikely I’ll ever be able to afford an type of vacation on this gorgeous be z

Us poor peeps can only hope to win the give away Cruz on that boat for the week…

One day I will be able to take a trip on this yacht or spend a week on this yaht, when that day comes I’ll know I won the lotto…lol

I don’t get it. What’ s so special about a yacht? $200,000 and for what?

WoW!! I only wish that I were related to the Real House Wife celeb, Ms. Bailey. What a blessing to grab a few best friends and even just enjoy a weekend at sea…….now that would make me very happy. I will be looking for that “Eros Cruise Contest” as well.

I thought it would fun to get 10 friends and split the cost until I checked into the prices. Wow, I can pay my house off for the amount of money they are asking. I watch the show and I have not been impressed with the food the chef serves, the entertainment, an employee dressing up as a mermaid?? and some water toys. Add another 10000.00 or more for the tip at the end of the week. Maybe when I hit the lotto!

The actual Below Deck yacht is available to charter in Miami area for anyone that has the money.

I would NEVER charter the Eros after seeing the show ‘Below Deck’ & seeing how the crew mock the quests publicly on camera! How rude & unprofessional!

Great Share,

We are planning for sailing vacation after our wedding, I think we will prefer hiring such services which will take care of me and my family.

Hope we are able to go for this vacation. 🙂 ;p

'Below Deck's New Yacht Eros Will Shake Things Up

who owns motor yacht eros

Oh how I love Below Deck , the annual reminder that not even people who work on a yacht are capable of getting work done on a yacht. Every season, the cast of stews and deckhands find a new summer home, from the Honor to the Ohana, and now, Eros. The Season 3 Below Deck yacht Eros is different from Ohana , but those differences are just going to make this season the reality series' best yet. I know — that seems impossible. But I predict that even though two of its most enjoyable cast members are gone (Ben and Kat), Below Deck Season 3 has the potential to soar. A lot of my confidence in this stems from Eros, which is the best boat yet. Well, that and the fact that the best cast member hands-down, Captain Lee, is still roped in for another year.

From what we know so far, chartering the Eros must be one hell of an experience. Reading the breakdowns for these super yachts every year makes me understand why Kate says that she's trolling for a husband on every single journey — anyone who can take a trip on the Eros is living a life anyone would want to share. Here are a few things you should know about the yacht that will serve as the latest beautiful Below Deck setting.

1. It's Named For Love

who owns motor yacht eros

Eros is the Roman god of love, which comes at a direct contrast to last year's Ohana, which means "family" in Hawaiian (thanks, Lilo and Stitch ). And that's not necessarily a coincidence, either, since according to a breakdown on YachtCharterFleet, all three of the yachts on Below Deck have swapped names either before or after Bravo took it on their mega-charter. So even though last season had one romance, get ready for a whole season of love.

2. Eddie Will Be A More Experienced Boss

Even though Captain Lee is the charismatic one, Eddie the bosun is the most likable member of the cast. And with the Eros' tons of deck space, he'll need that experience, because at least one member of the deck crew always winds up quitting or being incapacitated for part of the journey.

3. It's The Priciest One Yet

Ever fantasized about taking the Eros out for charter? Well, unless you have somewhere close to $200,000, that's not gonna happen. According to YachtCharterFleet's rental page, it's going to cost at least 175,000 eruos to take a week-long summer charter.

4. The Jacuzzi Can Fit 8 People

Hey, have you ever been on a yacht with seven guests and been super bummed because you couldn't all fit into the jacuzzi? No? Well, me neither, but I'm sure the crew on Below Deck have, so that's one less thing that will be frustrating Kate or making Amy shake her head in disbelief. YachtCharterFleet even has a photo of the eight-person hot tub, and I don't care how hot it is where you are — it'll make you want to take a dip.

5. It Has A Proud Canadian History

According to YachtCharterFleet, the Eros was originally made for the owner of Tim Horton's , Ron Joyce. The Ohana could boast no such heritage.

6. It's Had Some Fabulous Names

who owns motor yacht eros

"Eros" works perfectly for the purposes of Below Deck Season 3, but the yacht's real name is Mustang Sally. If I could afford to rent a yacht, I'd want the one called Mustang Sally. And the yacht's original name was "The Destination Fox Harb'r Too," which I don't really understand, but is also an enjoyably strange name.

7. It Was Just Refurbished

who owns motor yacht eros

Both the Ohana and the Honor from Season 1 were sold right after their seasons of Below Deck aired. But Eros was sold just before filming for $17.9 million and totally refinished inside. So that means all of the updates you could imagine have already been added, like A/C, a barbecue, and Wi-Fi — because the biggest luxury of all is the luxury of pretending to be in your own backyard while actually on the open seas.

8. It's Even More Likely To Drive The Cast Insane

The Eros is incredibly fancy, prohibitively expensive even by yacht standards, and was given a facelift just before filming Season 3 of Below Deck ? Those charter guests are going to drive the crew absolutely nuts over the course of the season, and the more they do, the more fun Below Deck will be to watch. Eros is an upgrade in every way.

Who Owns the Boat on Below Deck? (The Facts Behind)

Written by J. Harvey / Fact checked by S. Numbers

who owns the boat on below deck

Watching any kind of reality TV show can become so immersive at times that often begin to confuse its real and fake aspects. As the Queen puts it, “Is this real life? Is this just fantasy?”

Well, while the show Below Deck does provide genuine touches in how it depicts yachties and charterers, we have to draw the line somewhere. For instance, if you thought Capt. Lee Rosbach who skippers the popular VALOR yacht is also the one who owns the boat on Below Deck, think again.

The actual VALOR yacht owner is Bobby Genovese. Although, recently, it’s been put up for sale.

Everything You Need to Know About That Ubiquitous Below Deck Yacht

Cost to rent a boat on below deck.

who-owns-the-yacht-on-below-deck

When we’re talking about the “Below Deck yacht”, the VALOR is often the one we’re referring to. Why? For one, it appeared in three seasons straight.

While we can say the same for the MY SEANNA and PARSIFAL III, the VALOR gets a bit of an edge since it graced the show in the earlier seasons. As such, it’s safe to say that it’s what people have in mind when they ask “Who owns the yacht on Below Deck?”

The owner’s been confirmed to be Bobby Genovese, a Canadian serial entrepreneur and philanthropist who also heads a private equity firm called the BG Capital Group.

But enough about that. I know you want more details about the yacht instead, so here’s every interesting tidbit about it:

  • It spans close to 154 feet and can reach a top speed of 15 knots.
  • It was built by Feadship in the Netherlands in 1990 with Frits de Voogt as the main designer.
  • It can accommodate up to 11 crew members and 12 guests.
  • Its past name was “Charade”, and its current actual name is “BG”.
  • Its latest asking price is $16,900,000.

valor-yacht-owner

Are you interested in taking part in the yachtie life and want to feel what it’s like to enjoy what Below Deck’s vessels have to offer? Chartering one remains a good route to take.

Of course, the VALOR/BG isn’t your only option if you want to rent the yacht on Below Deck. Most boats are available for charter on a per-week basis.

For your convenience, I’ve outlined the latest rates for all the boats in the following table. I’ve listed both the summer and winter weekly rates and included the Below Deck Mediterranean boats

$152,000 $168,000
$275,000 $275,000
$352,500 $325,000
Not Available for Charter at Present N/A
$160,000 $160,000
$168,000 $168,000
$325,000 $325,000
$195,000 $195,000
$249,500 $249,500
$250,500 $250,500
Not Available for Charter at Present N/A
$184,500 $184,500
$215,500 $215,500
$211,500 $211,500

Incidentally, you can also become a guest in the show and engage with the Below Deck home yacht cast for a more affordable rate of $40,000. This can be a better option for those who are asking for a shorter-duration query like, “How much is a 3-day charter on Below Deck?”

And it’s not like you’ll be paying for the total chartering rate by yourself, especially if you’re planning to invite along friends and family. You can always discuss splitting the total bill plus tips to the crew with the other guests.

I hope I’ve made it clear once and for all as to who owns the boat on Below Deck. Overall, the show has obviously made it a point to not directly state the respective owners of the yachts they showcase.Even now, the actual owners of the other vessels remain a mystery. Thankfully, information on the crowd favorite, the VALOR/BG, was pretty easy to dig up with a bit of Googling and research.

How Much Do Superyachts Cost?

who owns motor yacht eros

When it comes to superyachts, the sky is the limit when it comes to cost.

These luxury vessels come with hefty price tags that can range from anywhere between $30 million to over $400 million.

So, if youre in the market for a superyacht, youre looking at an investment that could easily break the bank.

The cost of a superyacht is driven by a variety of factors, including size, amenities, and customization.

Generally, the larger the yacht, the more expensive it will be.

Superyachts typically range in size from 100 feet to over 200 feet, and they can be as wide as 40 feet.

The bigger the yacht, the more luxurious features and amenities it will have.

Amenities also play a significant role in the cost of a superyacht.

While some owners prefer to keep their yachts out of the public eye, others have made headlines with their extensive amenities.

From swimming pools and helicopter pads to on-board cinemas and spas, the sky is the limit when it comes to customizing a superyacht.

The more amenities a superyacht has, the more expensive it will be.

Finally, customization is another major factor that will drive up the cost of a superyacht.

Many luxury vessels have custom-designed interiors that are tailored to the owners tastes.

From custom furniture and artwork to lighting and audio systems, the cost of a superyacht can quickly escalate depending on the level of customization.

In short, the cost of a superyacht can vary widely depending on its size, amenities, and customization.

While some may be able to get away with spending a few million dollars, others may end up spending hundreds of millions of dollars on their dream yacht.

No matter what your budget is, its important to do your research and find out exactly what youre getting for your money before signing on the dotted line.

Keeping Superyachts Out of the Public Eye

When it comes to owning a superyacht, some owners prefer to keep their vessels out of the public eye.

Understandably, these individuals are concerned with privacy and discretion, and therefore tend to take measures to ensure their yachts are not visible to outsiders.

For instance, some superyacht owners opt to keep their vessels in private marinas, away from the public areas of larger ports.

Additionally, some yacht owners may choose to hire security guards to patrol and protect their vessels while they are moored or sailing.

In addition to physical security, some superyacht owners also use technology to keep their vessels out of the public eye.

For example, a yacht owner may choose to install a satellite-based communications system that allows them to keep their vessel completely off-radar.

This system works by bouncing signals off satellites rather than transmitting them, making it virtually impossible for anyone to track the yachts movements.

Finally, some superyacht owners also choose to limit the number of people who have access to their vessels.

For instance, the owner may only allow family members and close friends to board the yacht.

Additionally, the owner may choose to employ a limited number of staff to help maintain the vessel and keep it running smoothly.

These individuals may be required to sign non-disclosure agreements to ensure they do not disclose any information about the yacht or its owner.

Overall, while some superyacht owners may choose to keep their vessels out of the public eye, there are still plenty of other ways to show off the opulence associated with owning a superyacht.

From swimming pools and helicopter pads to on-board cinemas and spas, there are many luxurious amenities that can make a superyacht the envy of any jet setter.

Final Thoughts

Superyachts are a symbol of luxury and status, and the list of yacht owners reads like a who’s who of billionaires.

From the Emir of Qatar’s world-record breaking $400 million yacht to Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s vessel with a helicopter pad and on-board spa, the amenities of these luxury vessels are truly stunning.

With prices ranging from $30 million to over $400 million, owning a superyacht is an expensive endeavor.

Whether you’re looking to purchase one or just curious to learn more about the owners and their amenities, this guide will provide you with all the information you need to stay up to date with the superyacht scene.
