LE CHIFFRE has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 charter guests in 4 suites.

The guest cabins comprise a primary suite with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities, a cabin with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom facilities and 2 cabins with a twin bed .

Your luxury charter on board motor yacht LE CHIFFRE will be managed by the crew of 2 including the captain.

The crew will ensure you have a relaxed and enjoyable charter experience with all of your needs catered for while on board.

The 2 crew have their own separate crew quarters allowing guests to enjoy increased levels of privacy.

Offered by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht LE CHIFFRE is a 65 ft motor yacht featuring a jetski. The main attractions of LE CHIFFRE are her elegant profile and interconnection with the sea. LE CHIFFRE spends the summer and winter season in Croatia. She was delivered by the famous yacht builder Galeon in 2009. A well-done refit was fulfilled in 2016. The well-planned yacht layout features 4 large cabins and easily accommodates a group of 8 guests.

LE CHIFFRE is classified as a superyacht. The roomy aft deck, elegantly connects to the meticulously composed main saloon. The main saloon is a gathering space with comfortable seating and entertainment areas and boasts a number of entertainment options. 4 spacious cabins are thoughtfully spread out for maximum privacy and comfort.

Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). Sunseeker Predator 108

The Sunseeker Predator 108 was a luxury motor yacht, owned by terrorist financier, Le Chiffre in the 2006 James Bond film, Casino Royale . In early July 2006, the vessel was located in the Bahamas around Nassau ; during its owners' scheme to destroy Skyfleet Aeronautics ' prototype aircraft in Miami , Florida .

On the evening of July 6th, Le Chiffre played Poker with Madam Wu and an unidentified General on-board his luxury yacht, moored near Nassau, Bahamas. It can be assumed that his presence there was due to its proximity to Miami and the eastern coast of the United States . Nearing the end of the game, his subordinate Kratt informs him that the bomb maker he had hired to destroy the S570 was shot by a British agent . The following evening, the banker has a heated meeting with the man who supplied the dead terrorist: Alex Dimitrios . They come to an agreement and Dimitrios contracts another bomber ; but he also fails to destroy the plane, losing Le Chiffre a lot of borrowed capital.

The stunning Sunseeker Predator 108 features in Casino Royale . The luxury motor yacht, owned by villain Le Chiffre, is spotted by Bond right after he lands with the seaplane and is again seen later in the movie:

- when Le Chiffre's girlfriend and henchwoman Valenka (played by Ivana Milicevic) climbs aboard the yacht after taking a sunset swim - when Le Chiffre beats a rich guest at a poker game - as a meeting point for Le Chiffre and villain Alex Dimitrios (deleted scene).

The Predator 108 was filmed on location in the Bahamas and Sunseeker also built full-scale models of accommodation on board for transportation to film studios in Prague.

Working closely with Sunseeker's designers and drawing office, film producers EON Productions took 6 weeks to create full-scale sets of the Predator 108's Deck Saloon, Aft Cockpit and Master Stateroom, duplicating every aspect of equipment, luxury and style in the finest detail. Once created, the film sets were dismantled in the UK, transported and constructed in Prague, and mounted on a giant hydraulic platform to simulate the movement of the sea during filming.

DÉCRYPTAGE - Trombe marine, quille du voilier partiellement surélevée... Les enquêteurs doivent déterminer si le naufrage du Bayesian est dû à un simple événement météorologique exceptionnel ou à une erreur humaine.

La trombe marine, un phénomène ultra-localisé 

• Une éventuelle erreur humaine ? 

Le bateau, long de 56 mètres,  a sombré en l’espace de quelques minutes . C’est en tous cas ce que démontrent des images de vidéosurveillance qui ont capturé le moment tragique. Alors qu’il était au mouillage à environ 500 mètres de la côte de Porticello, Le Bayesian s’est retrouvé piégé dans une trombe marine vers 5 heures du matin. 15 personnes ont été secourues,  six corps ont été retrouvés  et une personne est encore actuellement recherchée.  

En parallèle des recherches du dernier potentiel survivant, une équipe d’enquêteurs a été envoyée sur place pour déterminer les causes du naufrage du navire. Pour cela, ils travaillent en étroite collaboration avec les Italiens. La principale interrogation : comment a-t-il pu couler aussi rapidement alors que les bateaux aux alentours n’ont pas été touchés ? Pour cela, ils interrogent le capitaine du yacht et  les personnes qui ont été secourues , afin de reconstituer les faits minute par minute.

Sicile Cinq corps retrouvés dans l’épave du super yacht

La recherche des six disparus à bord du yacht de luxe Bayesian a repris mercredi matin.

(Porticello) Cinq corps ont été retrouvés mercredi dans l’épave du yacht de luxe « Bayesian » du magnat britannique de la tech Mike Lynch qui a fait naufrage lundi en Sicile, amenuisant encore les chances de retrouver vivant le dernier disparu.

Ces cinq corps, retrouvés dans l’après-midi mais non identifiés pour l’instant, portent le nombre des morts à six, après la découverte lundi du cadavre d’un premier homme.

Des journalistes de l’AFP présents dans le port de Porticello, le lieu du naufrage à l’est de Palerme, ont vu des secouristes retirer quatre sacs mortuaires de bateaux pour les transporter vers une tente sur le quai ou dans des ambulances.  

Les médias ont par la suite signalé qu’un cinquième corps avait été découvert mais n’avait pas encore été ramené à terre.

Les opérations de recherche se poursuivent pour retrouver la dernière personne manquante qui était à bord du voilier, désormais couché sur le flanc droit à 50 mètres de profondeur à 700 mètres du port de Porticello. Mais l’opération est « longue et compliquée » selon les pompiers.

Les plongeurs se succèdent à la recherche des disparus.

Mercredi matin, par une mer calme, les plongeurs ont rejoint la zone de recherche à bord de petits canots pneumatiques, se relayant par équipes de deux.

Un responsable des garde-côtes, le capitaine Vincenzo Zagarola, avait cependant déclaré dès mardi à la radio italienne qu’il était « difficile d’imaginer » que les recherches puissent bien se terminer.

Scènes apocalyptiques

Quelques heures avant la tornade survenue lundi à l’aube, la fête battait son plein sur le « Bayesian », un yacht de 56 mètres de long battant pavillon britannique à bord duquel se trouvaient 12 passagers et 10 membres d’équipage.

Mike Lynch, un richissime homme d’affaires surnommé le « Bill Gates britannique », fêtait avec ses amis, collaborateurs et avocats sa relaxe en juin dans un procès pour fraude aux États-Unis qui aurait pu lui coûter de longues années de prison.

Le navire a sombré en quelques minutes et 15 personnes, dont six passagers parmi lesquels une mère et sa fille d’un an, ont été sauvées, tandis qu’un membre de l’équipage a été retrouvé mort.

« Le mot que la mère et tous les blessés répétaient sans cesse était “l’obscurité”, l’obscurité qu’ils ont vécue pendant le naufrage », a témoigné à la BBC Fabio Genco, le responsable des urgences de Palerme qui ont fourni les premiers secours aux survivants.

« Ils ont parlé d’environ cinq minutes, peut-être de trois à cinq minutes, entre le moment où le bateau a été soulevé par les vagues et le moment où il a coulé […] Il y a eu des scènes vraiment apocalyptiques où tout le monde cherchait et espérait trouver » les personnes manquantes, a-t-il ajouté.

Les six personnes qui manquaient à l’appel mercredi matin étaient Mike Lynch et sa fille Hannah, Jonathan Bloomer, le président du conseil d’administration de Morgan Stanley International, une branche de la banque américaine, et de l’assureur Hiscox, ainsi que son épouse, et Chris Morvillo, un avocat qui a défendu Mike Lynch dans son procès aux États-Unis, ainsi que son épouse.  

Une personne reste recherchée, sans que l’on sache laquelle, dans l’attente de l’identification des cinq corps retrouvés.

Les premiers témoins avaient raconté que le mât de 75 mètres s’était rompu mais les informations disponibles mercredi semblent indiquer que ce n’est pas le cas.

La vitesse à laquelle le yacht a coulé et le fait que les autres bateaux autour de lui n’aient pas été touchés soulèvent des questions, notamment celle de savoir si la quille lestée, qui fait contrepoids à l’imposant mât, était abaissée ou relevée au moment de la tempête.

Lundi 19 août au petit matin, un yacht appartenant à un géant de la tech britannique, Mike Lynch, a sombré au large de Palerme, en Sicile. Sur les 22 personnes à bord, sept ont perdu la vie.

Cette croisière sur la mer Méditerranée devait être une grande fête. Mike Lynch, un millionnaire britannique qui a fait fortune dans la tech, avait invité sa famille, ses avocats et sa collaboratrice à venir célébrer son récent acquittement dans une affaire de fraude sur son bateau de luxe, le Bayesian. Parti de Milazzo, en Sicile, le 14 août, le super-yacht de 56 mètres de long transportait douze passagers et dix membres d’équipage, en majorité de nationalité britannique, au moment de son naufrage .

Il y avait bien sûr Mike Lynch , cet entrepreneur de 59 ans que la presse surnommait « le Bill Gates britannique » et sa femme Angela Bacares, ainsi que leur plus jeune fille, Hannah, 18 ans, qui devait faire sa rentrée à l’Université d’Oxford en septembre. L’avocat du millionnaire, Chris Morvillo, connu notamment pour avoir enquêté sur les attentats du 11-Septembre, faisait office d’invité prestige avec son épouse, Neda Morvillo, créatrice de bijoux « raffinés » à New York.

6 personnes ont péri dans le naufrage

La BBC indique que se trouvaient également à bord Jonathan Bloomer, président de la banque Morgan Stanley International et de la compagnie d’assurances Hiscox, qui avait témoigné en faveur de son ami durant son procès. Il était accompagné de son épouse, Judy Bloomer, qui a travaillé pour un important promoteur immobilier et était très investie dans une association caritative de recherche sur le cancer gynécologique. Tous, à l’exception de la femme de Mike Lynch, ont péri sur le Bayesian.

Pour fêter sa récente victoire judiciaire, Mike Lynch avait aussi invité son autre avocate impliquée dans l’affaire, Ayla Ronald, et son partenaire, ainsi que son associée Charlotte Golunski, son mari et leur petite fille d'à peine un an. Eux ont pu être sauvés, tous comme neuf des dix membres du personnel qui se trouvaient à bord du yacht au moment du naufrage. Originaire d’Antigua, le chef Recaldo Thomas n’a, lui, malheureusement pas pu être sauvé.

« Ils ont fini comme des rats »

Dimanche 18 août au soir, le capitaine du super-yacht avait jeté l’ancre au large de Porticello, à l’est de Palerme. Au moment d’aller se coucher dans leurs cabines, les passagers avaient laissé hublots et écoutilles ouverts pour affronter les fortes chaleurs nocturnes. Mais vers 4 heures du matin, le Bayesian a été pris dans une trombe marine et, pour des raisons qui restent à éclaircir, il a chaviré, puis sombré dans la Méditerranée.

Pour le patron du groupe naval The italian sea group, propriétaire du chantier naval Perini navi qui a construit le Bayesian, Giovanni Costantino, « tout ce qui s’est passé révèle une longue série d’erreurs ». L’homme a expliqué au «  Corriere della Sera  » qu’au moment où l’orage a commencé à gronder, le « garde » aurait dû réveiller le capitaine, qui aurait lui-même dû lever l’ancre et les passagers quitter leur cabine.

« Au lieu de cela, le yacht a pris l’eau alors que les invités étaient encore dans leurs cabines. Un angle de 40 degrés suffit pour que ceux qui se trouvent dans une cabine se retrouvent avec la porte au-dessus d’eux : pouvez-vous imaginer un homme de 60 à 70 ans grimper pour sortir ? », s’interroge le patron du constructeur naval. « Ils sont tombés dans un piège, ces pauvres gens ont fini comme des rats. »
