Barcos sailing yacht Fantasea Blue listed for sale

The 24.48 metre Barcos sailing yacht Fantasea Blue has been listed for sale by Maël Fiolet at Camper & Nicholsons .

Fantasea Blue was built in carbon to Lloyds classification by Spanish yard Barcos Deportivos with design and naval architecture by German Frers . She was delivered in 2005 as a true bluewater cruiser with a powerful sail plan and light hull.

Accommodation on board this sailing yacht for sale is for six guests in three ensuite cabins, with a spacious master suite located forward in the bow.

Fantasea Blue ’s main saloon is divided into two key areas with a lounge and coffee table to starboard and a formal dining space to port. Natural light floods the space thanks to windows that wrap around the coachroof, while a fully equipped galley and captain’s desk also feature.

Moving outside, the cockpit provides an al fresco dining area with a teak table. Aft is a vast area to sunbathe, with a four metre tender stored on the foredeck. Areas of crew activity are separated from the guest relaxtion space, for maximum privacy.

Other key statistics a beam of six metres and a maximum draught of four metres. When cruising under power alone, a single Cummins engine provides a top speed of 11 knots and a cruising speed of 10.

Drawn from the pen of  German Frers , the hull takes up the lines of the Swan 80 but with an open transom and the typical automation of a Wally. Her build was entrusted to Barcos Deportivos, the shipyard in Tarragona, Spain, that specialises in high-end construction and maxi yachts.

Designed for long-distance cruising, Fantasea Blu is engineered for easy single-handed sailing, thanks to full automation, in-boom furling mainsail and hydraulically operated self-tacking jib.

The highly technological design has not neglected the cruising aspect, paying the utmost attention to meeting the expectations of a leisurely and exclusive cruise with surprising outdoor spaces for a yacht of its size.

A bimini is mounted on a carbon fibre structure sheltering the large cockpit to ensure maximum comfort for guests. Under the bimini, a large al-fresco area offers comfortable seating for 10-12 guests around the beautiful lacquered wood outdoor table that features outdoor refrigerators perfect for refreshing drinks.

The lightness of a  raised saloon  and classic joinery characterise the interior of Fantasea Blue, whose configuration is designed to accommodate up to 7 guests in 3 cabins: a master suite forward and 2 double cabins aft, all with en-suite facilities. She can carry up to 2 crew for a relaxed and safe sailing experience.

We had a birthday party onboard the Regency tonight. The entire crew were amazing. Francini was our director and made sure everything was set up and all of our needs were met. She was very kind, made sure everyone had a good time. She made herself available to all of our guests through the entire cruise.

What can I say except that this company provides excellence in everything that they do! I rarely find such genuine care and comfort from the beginning of the process to the end – I felt very taken care of and valued. In addition, the party was better than I expected! The service was amazing, the food was outstanding – I am still getting comments even months after – my guests are still telling me what a great time they had and asking when are we going to do it again! All of my guests (and me too) loved cruising into the sunset with cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres on the sky deck, dining at dusk with the great cafe lighting that Asdruval Party Rentals provided and then dancing the night away to awesome music by Brad at Rhythm City!

My cousins rented a Yacht for my Aunt’s 70th birthday party. We launched from Marina Del Ray and the boat did a loop around the marina for 5 hours. It goes by pretty fast especially since you’ll be enjoying dinner, entertainment, and when available, the open bar. The staff were amazing and the bartender kept up with all the orders with no hiccup. Years ago, my other cousin had a reception on another type of Yacht for their wedding reception. Maybe one day I’ll throw something on a Yacht and invite my closest friends. I think this is a better way to throw a special party than the usual land locked location.

I had my 50th birthday party on October 27th 2017. Erin was my party planner she made sure everything ran smoothly I had no worries. The decorations were beautiful I had a gatsby-themed party. I wish I could name everyone who helped on the yacht. I had 130 guess on the DANDEANA yacht all my guests were attended to no problems. The food was delicious the drinks were great the service was fabulous. This is my second yacht charter with this company and they never seem to fail me. Thank you everyone who helped for me to have a grand 50th birthday even the ones behind the scenes, I appreciate you all I’ll see you at my next event thank you everyone. Captain was great; thank you Jeffrey for greeting everyone. The casino on board was perfect, my band was great, my DJ was great. Thanks again I will never forget this day.

We held my Mom’s 70th birthday here on 1028 and we had an amazing time. The boat was gorgeous, very clean, modern and elegant. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Our planner, Erin, was very helpful. She was flexible and accommodated all of my needs, and gave great advice given her experience. I would absolutely recommend this boat for any of your parties.

Fantasea hosted my mother’s ash scattering at sea earlier today and I could not have been happier with the results. The food and service were excellent! Kudos to Jasmine, Erin, Capt Luis, Capt Carlos, Mariano, Julio, Wilson and Francini for their wonderful team work! I highly recommend Fantasea!

The 50m/164'1" motor yacht 'Fantasea' is an excellent new superyacht for the luxury charter market. Delivered by the Italian shipyard Benetti and featuring interior styling by Italian designer Benetti she can comfortably accommodate up to 11 guests in 6 cabins.

From bow to stern, Fantasea is brimming with an fantastic array of social and dining areas, both inside and out, making her the ideal yacht for relaxing and entertaining whilst on charter. She is equipped with underwater lights, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2023, Fantasea offers guest accommodation for up to 11 guests in 6 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin, two double cabins, one twin cabin and one single cabin. The supremely spacious full beam master suite incorporates its own study. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

You and your guests can enjoy a variety of experiences on Fantasea, notably a sauna to help you detox and regenerate. The swimming pool is perfect for exercising or admiring a romantic sunrise. Even the most discerning of charter guests will enjoy the included beach club or a gym with all the latest equipment is available for a good work out. Sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Fantasea benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, notably the underwater lights, adding spectacle and style after dark. With Wi-Fi connectivity you don't have to lose contact with the outside world, unless you want to or you can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin MAN engines, she comfortably cruises at 10 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 60,000 litre fuel tanks.

Fantasea has a good selection of water toys and accessories to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Principle among these is a Pro Series Flyboard for soaring over the water or swimming like a dolphin. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Another excellent feature are two F5S w/Camera SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and experience life swimming with the fish. If that isn't enough Fantasea also features wakeboards, paddleboards and surfboards. Fantasea has a 5.79m/19' Castoldi Tender to transfer you from ship to shore.

Accommodations

Layout is a large open salon with an aft galley and 2 staterooms below. The aft Master Stateroom is full beam stand up compartment with a private ensuite head with separate shower enclosure. The forward VIP berth converts from a queen bed to 2 twins and has an ensuite entrance to the dayhead with a shower enclosure as well. A "crew quarters" with single berth is at the transom and includes a head and sink with shower. This is a great weekender/cruising boat or an acomplished day boat and entertainment platform! For the adventerous types, it's very capable for a couple wanting stay aboard for a longer period of time if wintering in warmer climes. Cruises at about 23-24 knots and wide open can achieve about 29 knots so you'll reach your destination quickly!
