Tankoa T560 Apache, ecco il nuovo superyacht targato Tankoa

Il nuovo Tankoa T560 Apache si unisce alla flotta del cantiere boutique italiano Tankoa. Uno yacht di 56 metri completamente personalizzato, attualmente in costruzione, per un cliente esperto che desiderava un superyacht davvero unico.

Sviluppato dal designer Alberto Mancini , il nuovo Tankoa T560 Apache trae ispirazione dal design del 76 metri T760 Apache concepito dallo stesso Mancini e presentato per la prima volta al Monaco Yacht Show nel 2021.

“ La sfida era quella di replicare un design ispirato al 76 metri conservando proporzioni simili, mantenendo lo yacht elegante e slanciato, ma offrendo comunque ampi spazi interni con caratteristiche che di solito si trovano su yacht di oltre 1.000 tonnellate di stazza lorda ”, dichiara Claudio Corvino, sales and business developer manager di Tankoa .

“ La parte complicata era massimizzare lo spazio interno limitando al massimo i compromessi, creando una sorta di rifugio che ricordasse una casa sulla spiaggia, con ampi spazi esterni e senza la formalità che a volte si trova su yacht di questa dimensione ”, continua Corvino . “ Il risultato è uno yacht incredibile con spazi stupefacenti, e con un design che non solo soddisfa tutte le richieste dei nostri clienti americani, ma che dimostra anche la capacità, la flessibilità e l’ingegnosità del team di Tankoa ”.

Lo sviluppo del Tankoa T560 ha avuto luogo inizialmente al Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show nel 2022. Il broker responsabile della vendita è J.D. Crawford di Fraser Yachts. La firma del contratto si è conclusa con successo all’inizio di agosto 2023. Fraser Yachts sarà coinvolto anche nella gestione del progetto durante tutta la costruzione.

“Nel primo incontro con il cliente, abbiamo dato priorità alle sue esigenze uniche. Dopo aver esplorato le opzioni di mercato, abbiamo trovato in Tankoa il partner perfetto per realizzare la visione del cliente. La profonda comprensione di Tankoa ha portato alla riuscita progettazione di uno yacht  totalmente customizzato” afferma J.D. Crawford di Fraser USA . “Questa collaborazione mette in evidenza il mio doppio ruolo come intermediario nella vendita ma anche rappresentante dell’armatore”.

La suite armatoriale

Il bridge deck offre una vista impareggiabile durante la navigazione. La posizione della timoneria principale libera anche il ponte superiore permettendo l’inserimento della cabina armatoriale.

La suite è un appartamento studio interno di 50 metri quadrati. C’è anhe la possibilità di avere un’ampia terrazza privata completa di flying pool di 5,5 metri e un’area salotto all’aperto.

A poppa, il salone superiore si apre su una grande terrazza con zona pranzo all’aperto per 12 persone. Sul ponte sottostante le aree comuni mantengono un’atmosfera beach chic con salone a poppa e un’area pranzo convertibile a prua. Il layout prevede anche cinque suite per gli ospiti, tutte situate a prua al livello del ponte principale.

Uno stile “beach chic”

Con le cabine degli ospiti posizionate sul ponte principale, l’equipaggio dispone di una generosa area per i propri alloggi sul ponte inferiore. La zona centrale è dedicata all’armatore e ai suoi ospiti, con centro benessere e palestra. Il garage per i tender si trova a prua sul main deck, sotto la terrazza dell’armatore. Qui possono trovare posto un tender da 7 metri, una barca di soccorso e sea toys.

Il desiderio degli armatori era quello di ricreare uno stile “beach chic”. Il risultato è stato raggiunto grazie a un beach club e una terrazza a poppa a filo d’acqua con una piscina in vetro da 4 metri. Con l’aggiunta di terrazze laterali, si crea un’area relax di ben 90 metri quadri. A collegare le parti esterne e interne del beach club troviamo una paratia in vetro fumé. Il ponte di poppa principale funge più da terrazza superiore che da area separata per gli ospiti.

Un flusso continuo

A contraddistinguere davvero il T560 Apache è la sensazione di unione tra interno ed esterno, una disposizione accogliente e informale che si accompagna a linee senza soluzione di continuità, capaci di nascondere brillantemente l’impressionante volume di 840GT. Aver potuto trasferire molte delle caratteristiche fondamentali del 76 metri su questo nuovo yacht dimostra la forza del concetto originale e della capacità di design di Alberto Mancini.

“ La progettazione del T560 Apache porta le caratteristiche chiave del concetto originale T760 Apache di 76 metri su uno yacht di 56 metri, accontentando le esigenze di un cliente americano che amava il concept più grande, ma voleva le stesse caratteristiche in una lunghezza di scafo più contenuta ”, afferma Alberto Mancini, fondatore e principale di AM Yacht Design .

“ Io e i miei designer ci siamo concentrati in particolare sulla suite armatoriale sul ponte superiore, che non solo offre una superficie interna di 50 metri quadri, ma la abbina anche a una terrazza di prua privata di 85 metri quadri che include un’incredibile piscina totalmente in vetro di 5,5 metri “, aggiunge Mancini . “ È una caratteristica che abbiamo mutuato direttamente dal modello più grande e siamo riusciti a realizzarla nel T560 senza compromessi. Siamo incredibilmente orgogliosi del design complessivo dello yacht ”.

Tankoa reveals 68m T680 Fenice at Monaco Yacht Show

Tankoa Yachts has announced a light-filled 68 metre superyacht design, penned for the Italian yard by Enrico Gobbi of Team For Design .

“We understood each other immediately with Enrico and it was a pleasure to develop this project together,” says Giuseppe Mazza, Tankoa sales and marketing manager. “With the T680 we continue to expand the range of Tankoa yachts in order to offer the market an ever-increasing choice of unique projects. Like her namesake, the T680 Fenice is a triumph of poise, rhythm and grace.”

A follow-up to Tankoa’s 50 metre series, the T680 Fenice is named in honour of the grand Fenice opera house in Venice, Gobbi’s home city. “We wanted to make a connection to the beauty of Venice,” said Mazza.

The design certainly feels like a stage for entertainment, with a 100 square metre lower aft deck beach club – ripe for a party – holding a massive infinity pool ­with a glass-covered portion that creates a spectacular walkway. Up in the main saloon, meanwhile, a large bar centres the aft end.

As well as a massive walk-in wardrobe, the 90 square metre forward owner’s cabin boasts panoramic views through multiple floor-to-ceiling windows that open on to a private terrace and a spa pool, with a helipad further forward on the bow.

There are also vast floor-to-ceiling windows in the main saloon and Mazza notes the “height of windows and how clear the views are throughout the boat”. The design has focused on smoothing the transition between inside and outside spaces and allowing guests to enjoy an al fresco feeling whether they are inside or outside. The sculptural exterior, meanwhile, is inspired by automotive and aeronautical design.

“I believe that superyacht projects of this size have to be distinctive,” says Gobbi, as well as “born from a blank sheet of paper, developed and built to the highest quality standards, which Tankoa has already proven itself able to do.”

“Today we have three positions, now we are extending to five,” said Vincenzo Poerio, CEO of Tankoa, who is expecting the yard to take on more projects, with the expansion due to be completed by the end of 2024.
